Reese's POV

For the last time, I looked at myself in the mirror. I am wearing a maroon tube fitted dress and a pair of black pumps. I curled my hair and applied some make up.

"Ready?" Angela asked me. I just nodded. The truth is, I ain't ready. But if I'll say I'm not ready, will things stop?

Pumunta na kami palabas ng mansion. Pupunta na kaming press con.

It's been a week noong inilibing si Daddy. After that, mabilis na kumalat ang balitang hindi kami totoong magkapatid ni Spencer. I actually don't know how did that happen, I mean, who the hell would spread the news? Sino pang nakakaalam? I don't wanna accuse people but I think it's Mr. Damasco.

Anyway, what's the purpose of hiding it? Truth sets us free. Pero hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon. Because right now, I feel like choking. I don't feel being free.

Sumakay na kami sa sasakyan. I feel so nervous while the driver drives. Angela keeps on saying that everything will be fine. Damien said we'll just meet at dinner. It's kinda okay for me he's not here with me in this moment because I think mas lalo akong kakabahan kapag kasama sya. I know how he feels towards the revelation. Naalala kong nag-away kami at nasaktan nya pa ako physically because he's scared. Scared that I might run away knowing I and Spencer's not real siblings.

I sighed upon hearing the driver. Nandito na kami. God knows how much pressured I am.

Bumaba na ako at pumasok ng building. People were staring at me but I don't care. I just want this over.

Adam's POV

"Damn it," I silently cursed. Fuck, these media are really assholes!

I just finished watching Reese's press con. She confirmed that we're not real siblings. Magmula kanina ay marami ng tumatawag sa akin. Business people, friends they call themselves and more. But I turned my phone off. Fuck off. My mind says that.

May ilang bagay pang natanong kay Reese, like is she pregnant, when is her wedding, how is she after the death of her father. I wanna go there a while ago and take her away. Bakas na bakas sa mukha nya ang stress at pagkakaba, pagkalito. Hindi nya alam kung anong isasagot o sasabihin.

Just why do these people suck too much info from people like us? Ano bang napapala nila? Don't we deserve our own privacy? Fuckers, they are.

I headed in the kitchen to get some drinks. Ah, I wanna drown myself. I wanna get away with everything.

I've been thinking a lot of things lately that's why I took a leave for everything. I let Walter run the company for a while. Updated naman ako at ako pa rin ang nagdedesisyon. Sya nga lang ang kumikilos. And because I can't reach Reese personally, pinakiusapan ko si Angela na magstay pa ng isang buwan sa bansa. Buti na lang ay mabait ang pinsan ko at pumayag. Pero isang buwan lang daw dahil kailangan na rin sya ng asawa nya at buntis pa sya. I am so thankful to Angela.

Ipinikit ko ang mga mata ko. Hanggang ngayon sya pa rin ang nakikita ko. She's laughing and smiling. Things that she never does when I am around. I always make her sad. I don't deserve her.

That's why I am here, hiding like a lonely beast. Guess I'll be a lonely beast forever...

Third Person's POV

It's already 10 pm ng sunduin ni Damien si Reese sa pamamahay nito. It was a late dinner they will have. Reese looks so lovely in it's venus cut dress. Kahit ano naman yatang isuot nya ay maganda sya. Well, why not? She's Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty.

"How's your day, sweety?" Bati sa kanya ng nobyo. Masuyong hinalikan nito ang kanyang kamay. Kung ibang babae lang ito, malamang nalaglag na ang panty nito. Pero hindi. She's actually tired and not interested. Pagod na pagod ang utak nya at gusto nya na lang sumalampak sa malambot nyang kama. But she isn't a rude girlfriend. Hindi nya binigo ang nobyo nyang gwapo at sweet.

They got inside the car and Damien drives. Hawak-hawak nito ang kamay nya. Reese was just looking on the window, viewing the city lights. Pamaya-maya'y sinusulyapan sya ng nobyo. Gandang-ganda sa kanya. Mahal na mahal sya.

Nang makarating sila sa favorite nilang restaurant ay napansin agad ni Reese na walang ibang tao. Besides, the place's ambiance became extra romantic. May nagviviolin pa!

Kumain sila at nag-usap. Somehow, mas masigla na si Reese. Natutuwa kasi sya sa lugar, so relaxing. Kahit papaano'y gumaan ang pakiramdam nya.

Inaya syang sumayaw ni Damien. Damien was whispering sweet nothings into her ears. Unlike before, she feels awkward now. Hindi nya mawari kung bakit ngunit hindi na rin nya pinansin.

Hanggang sa hawakan nito ang dalawa nyang mga kamay at tumitig sa mga mata nya.

"Baby. It's been a long time since we got back. Marami tayong pinagdaanan ngunit patuloy pa rin tayong matatag," pagsasalita ni Damien. Panic rose over her being. She don't wanna believe it but it feels like this is really it.

"Ups and downs. But baby, we keep on holding on, and you know what I realized?"

Oh please. Reese was praying so hard deep inside. Not now. Hindi nya alam ang gagawin!

"That you're the only woman I wanna be with for the rest of my life,"

Shit. She cursed in her head. And yeah, one, two, three, nakaluhod na ngayon sa harap nya ang binata!

Inilabas nito ang isang pulang velvet box at naroon ang isang white gold ring na may malaking diamond sa gitna na napapalibutan ng mas maliliit na diamonds....

"Aphrodite Reese, will you marry me?"

Napapikit sya ng mariin.
