I am scared to tell Matthew how I feel about him

A lot had happened some of us had to stay at home or go to work and be with friends and family and Facetime and Zoom and try to see one other in person and everyone can text and talk all day long and we like where has the time gone. I am still not over my best friend cause my heart is telling me that he doesn't have a girlfriend but I know that he does and I try not to think about it because I will get sad. And I have a feeling it won't ever change cuz the heart wants what the heart wants I had finally text my best friend on ig two weeks ago and he couldn't be on there so he asked me for my phone number for he could text me and it feels like I have been texting every day, not months lol I had found him a xmas gift but I don't know his ring size cuz he didn't tell me and I don't want to guess the wrong size he knows what his xmas gift is but he doesn't know what his birthday gift is but I did tell him what I was planning for in birthday gift in 2019 I hope we will be a best friend forever no matter what. I can't believe it going on 8 years wow crazy because it doesn't feel like it. Where has the years gone by? Is it just me cuz years don't feel like years?  I don't even know what I am going to do on xmas or New years so what are you going to do on xmas and New years Let me know any way I still have dreams about my best friend I can't help it it just happens my mind had a mind on its own.
