"Whatcha listening to?" Your cellmate and best friend, Yoimiya, whispers as she climbs on the ladder connecting to your top bunk.

You turned over to show her the little mp3 player in your hand, listening to her read it out. "CPR...." whispering so lowly, it made you grimace a bit.

Yoimiya had her mouth slightly open staring at you, and you staring right back. "It's catchy, okay?"

She throws her hands up defensively and motions for you to scoot, "wellll anyways! There's something more interesting than that!" She beacons you closer as you lean in, "I heard that one of the Kamisato's are visiting!"

That is interesting, you thought but why visit a prison?

The two of you continued chatting until there was a loud buzzer going off, making the both of you jump down and walk towards the bars.

Apparently, new inmates are coming in and while some were accompanied by guards, you saw someone in white as you caught a quick glimpse.

"I think that's him..." Yoimiya whispers beside you, her face between the bars as she tries getting a better look.

You looked away from her and towards the direction where he was standing at. He was tall. His suit was mainly white with other details and almost pale like blue hair.

But that was what you could see from afar, plus his back was turned.

"Do you know why he's here? Why bother coming to a prison?" Yoimiya shrugs and you hum trying to figure it out.

Then in came another person behind him still in cuffs and your eyes widened. Your hands tightened around the bars and Yoimiya looked down just in time, "woah woah! Why are you gripping the bars like that?" She questions, face with concern now.

Your eyes were focused on the man who was next to the Kamisato. The one who was the reason behind you and him getting captured and thrown in here.

Itto Arataki.

You haven't seen the guy in over a year and after all this time, he still looks the same. Maybe a little bit skinnier, but he still seemed fit. His hair was thrown up in a ponytail, making you see his pointy ears.

It surprises you how it's been 5 years since you've seen that crazy bastard.

Your mother was very disappointed when she found out you were going to prison. Even your brother too, thinking he'd be the first one to go.

What happened was: you and Itto were beating up a gang of people when they tried attacking Yoimiya out of the blue; because she was 'setting up fireworks in their turf.'

It was dark out when it happened. Rain drenching your clothing and hair sticking to your faces, knuckles bloodied up.

When everyone from the other gang looked about done and lying out cold, you grabbed Yoimiya and you were facing Itto, telling him to wrap it up.

But of course, Itto didn't like that, and wanted to track down anyone that was affiliated with the gang that almost attacked Yoimiya.

Itto's recklessness had caused you both to get arrested and caught the same night.

Yoimiya was set free because she didn't harm anyone. Well, more like didn't send anyone to the emergency room with bunch of injuries.
