DANIELA CRUZ stood out on the back patio, alongside her best friend Diana, as she sipped on the red bull she had poured in her red solo cup. They were currently gossiping about Cane Tejada, and their dysfunctional ass relationship.
"So, you're telling me that you caught him at her house?" Diana questioned.
"Yeah, Di. I had his location and you know how I do. It only takes a minute to pull up on his cheating ass." Daniela answered.
"You're a trip. I don't know why my brother likes them crazy." Diana remarked.
"Di, that nigga makes me crazy. It's a difference." Daniela stated. "You're talking all this shit, but you'll be right back with him tomorrow." Diana said. "Not this time. I'm done putting up with his shit." Daniela told her, and she scoffed.
"Mhm, yeah, sure." Diana replied.
"Just watch." Daniela added, cockily.
All of a sudden, a bunch of shouting and applause began to erupt, as Zeke walked outside, onto the back patio, and greeted his cousin Dru.
A few seconds later, a cute brown skin dude walked out, and began speaking to Dru, along with Zeke.
"Oh, shit." Diana cursed, slapping Daniela on the wrist. "Di, what?" Daniela questioned, as she turned around. "He's cute, huh?" Diana asked, as Daniela stared at the tall brown skin boy, standing next to Zeke.
"Yeah, he's okay." Daniela lied. "Girl, he's cute. You can't even front." Diana said, smacking her teeth. "He's not my type. Maybe y'all could talk." Daniela responded. "Girl, I'll take him." Diana spoke, making Daniela roll her eyes.
"Have fun." Daniela snickered, taking another sip of her drink. "Oh, shit. I think they're coming over here." Diana panicked. "And?" Daniela retorted. "Girl, can you please be nice?" Diana asked, making Daniela scoff.
"I'm always nice." Daniela remarked, tossing her red solo cup into the trash.
"Barely." Diana mumbled, to herself.
"I heard that." Daniela uttered, causing Diana to giggle.
"Daniela! Diana!" Zeke shouted, as he approached them, with the new boy beside him.
"This is my cousin, Diana Tejada and this is basically my other cousin, Daniela Cruz." Zeke introduced, hugging the both of them.
"You're so stupid." Daniela laughed, making the new boy smirk.
"Y'all, this is my boy Tariq! We go to Stansfield together." Zeke introduced the new boy.
