DANIELA CRUZ stood in front of Cane Tejada's bathroom mirror, applying bronzer and blush to her cheeks. She was getting ready for her 19th birthday celebration at her dad Dominic's house.
Cane sat on the bed behind her, as he watched her get dressed up and admired her beauty. She was wearing a black maxi dress, with gold stiletto heels and gold jewelry. She had hair curled in a bob.
"Wow, you look beautiful, baby." Cane spoke, as he stood up and walked up behind her. "Thank you." Daniela smiled, as he trailed kisses down her neck. "You ready to go?" Cane asked. "Yeah, I think that I am all done." Daniela answered.
"Aight, hold up. I got something for you. I wanted to give it to you, before we left." Cane said. "Uh, okay. What is it?" Daniela queried. "Sit down right here and close your eyes." Cane ordered, grabbing her and making her sit down on the bed.
"Oh, shit. You're scaring me. You know that I don't like surprises." Daniela said, making him chuckle lightly. "Just relax, ma. I promise you're gonna love it." Cane assured, making her blush. "Okay, fine. I trust you." Daniela replied, closing her eyes.
Cane walked over to his dresser and opened the top drawer. He pulled out a jewelry box and closed it back, before heading back over to the bed. Cane stood in front of Daniela, who's eyes were still closed as she waited patiently.
"Okay, you can open your eyes, now." Cane told her, as he placed the jewelry box into her hands.
Daniela opened her eyes and looked down at the jewelry box in her hands.
"Aw, Cane. No, you didn't." Daniela squealed, as he chuckled. "Go ahead and open it, baby." Cane urged. "Okay." Daniela replied, as she slowly opened up the box and he watched her. "Hurry up." Cane rushed, making her giggle.
Daniela opened up the jewelry box and revealed a rose gold diamond ring. She instantly gasped as she covered her mouth and Cane smiled at her reaction. She smiled brightly as she grabbed the ring and analyzed it.
"Come on, let me put it on you." Cane said, as he grabbed the ring. "Oh, my god. I can't believe you really got this for me." Daniela said, as she held out her hand. "You deserve it." Cane told her, grabbing ahold of her hand.
Daniela watched as Cane slid the ring onto her ring finger, before softly kissing her hand.
"Wow, it's beautiful." Daniela stated, as she admired the ring. "I'm happy that you like it." Cane replied, smiling. "What's it for?" Daniela asked. "Well, it's a promise ring and I'm making a promise to you to stay committed." Cane told her.
