I scrubbed my hair with shampoo, thinking about my reunion with Kaneki. I'm so happy that I get to see him again, even though his hair is white. There was a nagging feeling, a feeling that something was different. I couldn't put my finger on it though, do I just shrugged it off. (Like reader does all the time) Once I finished washing myself off I stepped out of the shower and put a towel on. I then turned around and saw that Kaneki had opened the door. His eyes scanned my body and he had pink tinted cheeks.

"Kaneki!" I blushed and gripped my towel tighter. "W-what are you d-doing." I always stuttered when I was nervous.

Kaneki let go of the handle and he touched his chin. Something he did when he lied or was nervous. Hide told me this. "Well, I forgot my shirt and uhm.. I didn't know you were in here, so I just..." He seemed to be at a loss for words. He then had a look of realization on hi face and he smirked. A dark smirk that I've never seen before. Kaneki then walked up to me and hugged me. "I'm so glad to see you again, even when you're like this."

I felt my cheeks heat up.

"I missed you so much (Y/N)." Kaneki hugged me tighter.

I still gripped the towel while I was being embraced. "I missed you to Kaneki." I breathed out. Still relieved he felt the same.

Kaneki pulled his head back and smiled. A smile I haven't seen in forever. He leaned in and lightly pressed his lips upon me. I kissed back. With that nagging feeling again in my stomach. Kaneki deepens the kiss and moved his hand down my back. Lightly moving his fingers across it. I let out a tiny moan and he took this chance to slip his tongue into my mouth. I let him explore my mouth and he disconnected our mouths. A thin string of salvia had been left connecting our mouths.

"I'll let you get dressed." Kaneki released me and turned to leave. I felt that he would leave again, so out of impulse I grabbed his sleeve. He stopped and turned his head. "Don't worry I won't leave again, I promise." He turned his body towards mine and lightly kissed my forehead. I still gripped his shirt. "Ah, we can sleep together and cuddle like we did back then if you want?"

I nodded.

"Okay good." A smile had spread across his face again, and my heart skipped a beat. I always loved that smile. "If you want I can help you get dressed." He smirked.

I nodded again.

Kaneki's eyes widened a bit, surprised that I agreed. I couldn't resist, I was so happy to be reunited that I would do anything for him. "Okay." His eyes softened and he gently grabbed my hands. He pulled them away from my body and the towel fell. I blushed. He walked over to the counter and picked up my clothes. "Hold on." He walked out and brought back some underwear and one of his shirts. I out the underwear on myself and he helped me with the shirt. He left some off the top buttons undone. His hand grazed my chest and I blushed an even deeper shade of red. He leaned in and connected our lips once again. He picked me up bridal style and laid me down on the bed. He looked at me and thought of what to do. He laid down next to me and pulled the covers over us. I cuddled up to him and closed my eyes. Feeling something press against my forehead as I drifted off into a deep sleep.
