Mado Punch

Haise and I walked out of Dr. Shiba's and began to walk to the meeting room. Dr. Shiba just got done telling us the report on Mutsuki and the others. He also told Haise that Saiko need to lay off the snacks because she's been getting a bit more heavier. Dr. Shiba was a bit mean about it though which ticked me off. He also mentioned how Mutsuki isn't growing any strong like a ghoul, more like a human. I was kind of worried about that.

I looked over at Haise who was frowning. I decided to speak up first. "We need to keep a closer eye on them from now on."

"Yeah." He responded.

I turned my head away and we silently walked to the meeting room. We were going to be discussing about Torso today.

We arrived and Haise pushed the door open. Many people were in the room and it seemed Haise and I were the last ones to arrive.

We rushed to sit down and Mado began to immediately speak. "Let's begin now, shall we?"

Everyone nodded silently. I looked around the room and saw Mado's squad, Hirako's squad, and Shimokuchi's squad all sitting down. Some seemed to be absent though.

I spaced out an didn't listen for the first few minutes until Shimoguchi started to talk against Haise. "Rank 1 investigator Sasaki, you appear to be naive." He paused. "Why didn't you execute the ghoul on spot? He was only class B and had no information to provide us with. Public safety is priority. It's in the 13 clauses of the ghoul counter-plan law. You should've sealed with him swiftly."

Haise smiled nervously. He doesn't like the spotlight on him, especially if there is a lot of tension.

I spoke up. "In clause 2 it states it is forbidden to harm a ghoul more than needed."

The man narrowed his eyes at me. "Clause 2 refers to not torture them but you can kill them in the least suffering way. It is to say ghoul investigators are expected to kill the instantly." He smirked. "Do you sympathize with ghouls investigator Yuki? Consider you are a ghoul yourse-"

"Investigator Shimoguchi." Mado interrupted him. "It's my job to educate my underlings."

"What happens if the aren't educated properly investigator Mado? The other day they came begging me to hand them over information."

"Oh really? I sent them to do that since you guys work like turtles. We were just helping a friend in need."

"W-what did you say!?" Shimoguchi and one of his team members exclaimed.

Mado crossed her arms. "Kaneki, Yuki, and I could have easily handled the case ourselves in under a week, but I've been busy with other things like Aoigiri."

Haise and I sweat dropped. A week?

Shimoguchi glared at Mado. "That's the last straw-"

"Investigator Mado and investigator Shimoguchi that's enough." I looked over and saw that investigator Hirako finally spoke up. "Investigator Shimoguchi just get us info on Torso. That concludes today's meeting."

Shimoguchi glared at Mado one last time and left.

~Tiny Timeskip~

Mado, Haise, and I walked down the hallway silently until Haise spoke up. "I'm sorry you had to cover up for us Akira."

"Sasaki." Mado stopped walking. She then turned around and punched Haise in the stomach.

My eyes widened in surprise. "I-investigator Mado?"

She glared at Haise and I. "Identify Torso's face in a month and don't defend ghouls. That I all." She walked away and I shivered.

"Sa-sa-ki~" A sing song voice sounded out and I turned around. Investigator Ito showed up and was smiling. "Man is Mado such a bully these days. I mean that was really harsh." He chuckled.

"I-investigator Ito?" I said.

He looked at me. "Just call me Kuramoto and I'll call you Yuki." He pointed at me, and then at Haise. "I'll call you Haise also."

"Alright." I giggled.

Haise smiled. "Okay."

Ito helped Haise up. "Also there is a ghoul named Serpent who is killing other ghouls."

"R-really?" Haise exclaimed.

"Yeah! Crazy right?" Ito said.

"That's weird." I said quietly.

~Time Skipullalalalal~

Haise and I walked home. We entered and Mutsuki was there. "Welcome home." Mutsuki inquired.

"Where are the others?" Haise asked.

"Well since the ghoul the other day wasn't Torso, they flipped and stormed off."

"Ah, I see." Haise whispered.

"Where is Saiko?" I asked.

Mutsuki looked at me. "She was playing some dancing lion app game and is now in her room."

"Oh." I paused. "Are you hungry Mutsuki? I feel like cooking."

"Actually yes." He smiled.

"I'll help." Haise added.

"Alright." I smile and nodded. We went into the small kitchen and began to cook. We finally finished and I set up plates on the table for Mutsuki and Saiko. "Dinner is ready!" I called to Saiko's room.

"Okaaaay." She yelled back lazily.

I giggled and went back to the table.

~Last time Skip, I promise~

I finally finished getting ready for bed and pulled the covers over me. I turned on my side and looked out the window. I then heard Haise enter the room and sit in the bed.

"Yuki."

"Hmm?" I hummed.

"I love you."

I blushed. "I-I love you to Haise." I turned to face Haise.

He leaned over and lightly kissed my lips. "Still as sweet as ever."

I smiled. "Not as sweet as you."

Haise chuckled and went under the covers next to me. We were facing each other and our noses were touching lightly. Haise then lightly kissed me again. I kissed back and deepened the kiss. Haise snaked his arms around my waist an pulled me closer. I pulled away for air and then went to kiss him again. I ran my hands through his hair and wrapped my arms around his neck.

Haise pulled away and then climbed on top of me. He leaned his head down and kissed me again. Each kiss was more passionate then the one before.

"Yuki." He pulled away and whispered in my ear. "Will you be mine tonight?"

I blushed and nodded. "Yes."

He smiled and kissed me again. "Good."
