"What? Repeat that please." I stiffened. Did he really say human?

"Yes my dear. Want more?" He held his hand out with another piece.

I gripped the bed sheets and felt as if I was going to be sick. I began to shiver uncontrollably. "W-what did you do to me?" I felt myself tear up.

"I felt as if you needed to be upgraded! So I transplanted a ghoul's heart into you. You like?" The man had a huge smile upon his face. He looked as if he were a kid in a candy store.

"No." I whispered. Tears began to silently fall from my eyes.

"What? Aren't you happy? Now you can relate to that boyfriend of yours. Now you won't be afraid he won't eat you." The man frowned.

"I was never afraid. Why did you do this to me?! I had a perfect life with Kaneki! Everything was fine!" I felt my voice rising.

"Oh don't worry my dear. Everything will be alright. Now get some rest." The man stood up and began to walk to the door. Then the door swung open and in stepped a little girl. She had black hair and one of her eyes were a ghoul eye.

She stepped in and spoke. "He's here, but the CCG is also."

"Oh~ How exciting! Ghouls and CCG are here!" He turned and looked at me. "Get some clothes on my dear! It's time to show your boyfriend what I did."

Kaneki's POV

I walked down the big hallway. Tsukiyama was with me, and everyone else split up. "Something's not right." I inquired. I began to feel something that was missing.

"Ah." Tsukiyama added.

We walked into a huge room. I felt a presence and I looked up. On top of a big pillar was a man in a lab coat. "The show is about to start." He stated.

"Who are you." I asked.

"Don't remember me Kaneki-kun?" The man smiled.

I then remembered. He was the doctor that tended to me after the accident with Rize. "What are you doing here?" I said with my teeth clenched.

"Just working on my patient."

What? Patient?

All of a sudden I heard people behind me. I turned around and clicked my tongue. The CCG. What are they doing here?

"Who are you?" A man stated. I've seen him before. But where?

Your POV

I ran down a random hallway. I rushed trying to find Kaneki. Where is he? The man told me he was here and I need to find him. I then ran into a big room. The CCG were there and they were fighting two ghouls. Realization struck me and I recognized the two. Tsukiyama and Kaneki. I ran in and a CCG investigator stopped me.

"Who are you?" He asked holding his cinque towards me. His eyes then widened. "You're (L/N)'s daughter. Why are you here?"

I then broke out running past him. I heard him yell after me but I ignored his calls. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw Kaneki. He looked like a centipede and I was terrified.

"(Y/N)?" I turned around to see who called my name. It was dad. "(Y/N) get away it's to dangerous!"

I shook my head and turned around. I ran towards Kaneki and tackle him. He wasn't Kaneki though. He was different, more crazy. "Kaneki." I whispered.

I heard him breathing heavily and it slowed down. He began to recognize me. "(Y/N)?"

I felt tears well up in my eyes and I began to cry. "I'm so happy to see you again."

"(Y/N)." I felt Kaneki's arms wrap around me. "Get away." I then was pushed away.

"Kaneki?" I fell on my butt. Then all of a sudden two knifes were thrown at Kaneki. I quickly got up and sprinted towards him. I stopped in front of him and I felt something come out of my back.

I looked at Kaneki whose eyes were wide from shock. Why were they like that?

Kaneki's POV

My eyes widened with shock with the sight in front of me. (Y/N)'s right eye was a ghoul eye and she had a rikaku spreading out from her back. She's a half ghoul. She seemed very beautiful in that moment though.

I then heard a voice shouting. "(Y/N)!!" I looked behind her and recognized the man. It was her father.

(Y/N) dropped her knees to the ground and I bent down to pick her up. I carried her bridal style. She seemed to have faint.

Her father slowly walked up to is and stopped. "What happened to my daughter?" He looked terrified. "My sweet daughter. My only daughter. My only child." Tears began to fall from his eyes. He slowly reached out his hand and walked over. He grabbed a piece of (Y/N)'s (H/C) hair.

I gripped onto her tighter and lowered my eyes. I couldn't look at him.

He softly played with it and looked at me. "You're Kaneki right?"

He saw right through my mask. "Yes sir."

"Did you do this?"

"No sir."

He then let go of (Y/N)'s hair and smiled. "I want you to run away and take care of my daughter. Please."

I slowly nodded. "Of course."

The man then spit up blood and fell to his knees. Behind him was a girl with black hair and one ghoul eye. She stabbed him and killed (Y/N)'s father.
