I silently read my magazine on the couch and looked over to Haise. He was also silently reading his book and I smiled. I continued to read until he spoke up. "So we will be starting to look for the nut cracker soon."

I looked over. "R-really?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah." He nodded while turning a page in his book. "So make sure to call the quinx for a meeting tonight."

"I'll contact them now." I said while setting my magazine down and standing up from the couch.
