The night was busy, with the growling noises of cars passing by. Diana, who was standing atop of a building, was starting to get boredom get to the best of her. She turned to the other corner, where a certain Dark Knight was keeping watch attentively.

She blew out a sigh upon seeing this. They were to keep watch of a person of interest that can give a lead to the Falcone Family and their connections to Gotham. Diana isn't really the "Waiting" type and her patience is something that she is not quite proud of

As an Amazon, she just wanted the thrill of combat, to engage in battle and to get the best of her opponents. But as Wonder Woman, she knew it was unwise to have such reckless mindset – at least that's what The Batman told her...

The silence between them was starting to bother her, she was staring at him from the corner of her eyes as her lips started to form into a pout. This waiting is gonna drain her down soon, she needed to at least do something in the meantime

"So... we just have to wait, right?"

"Yeah."

"Oh..." Diana returns to her watchful state, but her boredom was getting too powerful to ignore. Still staring at him, she started to whistle to alleviate the mood. Which Batman didn't seem to mind that much

"Perhaps he is in a better mood today, maybe I can strike up a conversation"

"So... Br– I mean... Batman. Your cape looks more ironed today."

"Thanks."

"Yeah, I mean, it's not that I'm one to say, you know. I don't even iron my battle uniform, if you know what I'm saying, he he..."

"No, I don't."

Diana scratched her head upon making such an embarrassing statement. It was that "cringey" moment that he had told her about

Either ways, she needed to resume their conversation

"So... what did you eat today for breakfast?"

"Pancakes."

"Oooh, I love pancakes. Donna loves hers with chocolate but I love mine with syrup!"

"Cool."

"Well, if you wanna know, I had an omelet for breakfast today~"

"I don't wanna know."

"Hera, very enthusiastic indeed, Bruce"

"You're doing it again?"

"What?"

"Using my name in uniforms."

"Ohhh... I'm sorry."

"Just don't do it again."

Afterwards, another surge of silence rushed between the two. It was fairly awkward, and it seemed that he was too distant from her which she didn't really want

Diana needed to keep the conversation running.

"So... how was your day?"

"Tiring."

"Wayne Enterprises responsibilities, huh... That's way outside of my field, but I wish you luck on that"

"Thanks."

"So, what do you usually do there anyways? I heard your job consists of just firing people and be grumpy as the boss"

"You sure are very talkative today, Princess."

"Well... I don't see the harm on doing so. We can pass time by having a conversation, you know"

"Perhaps."
