"The ginseng is actually from China and the ginger exported straight from Vietnam"

An old man uttered as he sat at a table across a young man sipping a tea.

"Tell me gramps, where's your wife at this time of day?" The young man asked as he spit a portion of the tea

"She's out for grocery with my granddaughter, why?" The old man answered

"Bleh, that explains it..." The boy muttered

The old man then fixes a napkin on the table to make it clean and tidy. The house was not very big but it seemed very nice to live in alongside with the fresh air from the windows

"I really wasn't expecting for one of my student to reach out after five years" The old man began

"And I see you've grown quite a bit"

"Hah, you have no idea." The young man responded

"Still aiming to be the best version of yourself with no regard for contention, I presume..." The old mean uttered

"You haven't changed at all, boy"

The young man then moved closer as he finished the tea that he had served for him

"being the best version of ourselves is the best way to live old man, the only way for me" he responded

"But enough with the banter, I want you to do something for me"

"But what could possibly an old man like myself do? The old man asked

The young man gripped both of his shoulders as he leaned closer

"What did you think, that I came all these miles so that I could sample your disgusting tea?"

The old man sniggered in response as he stood to his feet. He then led the young man to the storage just outside of his house

Upon entering, the young man noticed a jet plane which had dust all over It but it still looks durable and useful for expeditions

"Who would've thought that the greatest pilot in the world would go on to have a peaceful life away from his past" He began

"Forty years in the service is enough for a lifetime, kid." The old man responded

"And I found something more important than flying overall, it's called family"

The young man was stunned for a second there upon listening to him. It made him reminisce of what really is important as a whole

Ever since that incident that fateful night, he was skeptical of this "family" thing

It taught him a very valuable lesson, that at the end of the day.

He then wandered around and noticed a board full of photographs of a pilot in his aviator outfit and goggles.

In the other photograph, he was with Ronald Reagan himself and a very classic looking fighter jet

"Are you just gonna stare all day or we're gonna get this show on the road?"

A voice caught him off guard as he turned to the old man flipping off the blanket which revealed a nicely polished Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor

"Let's do this, gramps." He responded

xXx

The wind current was strong as the two of them are flying with the atmosphere. Any normal person would've puked on the spot at this situation but both of them were too experience in the air to even be fazed
