The Furuta henchman cleared his throat, breaking the subtle standoff between Yankumi and Hinami. "This way, ma'am," he said, gesturing toward the bathroom further down the hall.

Yankumi nodded and resumed walking, her steps steady despite the turmoil of thoughts racing in her mind. Hinami followed a short distance behind, watching her intently.

As they neared the bathroom, Yankumi felt the weight of the necklace hidden in her sleeve. If Shin's necklace is here, then he must be nearby. I need to figure out where he is without tipping anyone off, she thought, keeping her expression calm.

Yankumi thanked the henchman and entered the bathroom, closing the door behind her. She took a moment to compose herself, gripping the edge of the sink as she stared into the mirror. The sight of Shin's necklace flashed in her mind again, filling her with both anger and determination.

Shin... hold on. I'll get you out of here, she vowed silently.

Outside the bathroom, Hinami lingered, her arms crossed as she leaned casually against the wall. She wasn't convinced that Yankumi's bathroom break was as simple as it seemed.

A few minutes later, Yankumi stepped out, her expression composed and her resolve stronger than ever. "Thank you for waiting," she said to the henchman, who nodded and began leading her back to the main hall.

Hinami followed silently, her mind working quickly. As they walked, she noticed Yankumi's posture—a little too calm, a little too measured. It was clear Yankumi had found something.

When they returned to the main hall, Yankumi resumed her seat next to Kyo-san, her grandfather, and Wakamatsu-san. The casual conversation was still ongoing, but Kyo-san cast her a subtle glance, silently asking if everything was all right. Yankumi gave him a slight nod in return, keeping her discovery to herself for now.

Meanwhile, Hinami returned to her place beside her father, her mind filled with questions. She glanced at Yankumi, her suspicion growing. What did she find?

As the meeting dragged on, Yankumi's patience wore thin. Though she maintained her composed demeanor, her mind was racing. She discreetly clenched her hands under the table, her thoughts zeroed in on how to locate Shin without jeopardizing the delicate balance of the situation.

Masahiro clapped his hands together, signaling the end of the formalities. "Well, it's always a pleasure to meet with the Kuroda family. Let's continue fostering our good relations," he said warmly, bowing slightly to Kuroda-san.

Kuroda-san returned the bow with equal respect. "Indeed, Masahiro-san. We appreciate your hospitality and look forward to our continued partnership."

Everyone began to rise from their seats and Masahiro turned to Yankumi with a smile. "Kumiko-chan, it's been a while since you last visited. Perhaps you'd like to tour the estate before you leave? I'm sure there's much that has changed since your last visit."

Yankumi hesitated, sensing an opportunity. She glanced at her grandfather, who gave her a subtle nod of approval. "Thank you, Furuta-jiisan. That sounds wonderful," she said with a polite smile.

"Tareo, guide Kumiko-chan around. Show her the gardens. They've been beautifully maintained." Masahiro gestured to one of his men.

As the henchman stepped forward to lead Yankumi, Hinami quickly intervened. "Father, if I may, I'd like to accompany her. It's been some time since I've taken a proper look around the estate myself."

Masahiro raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by his daughter's sudden interest, but he nodded. "Very well. Behave yourself, Hinami."

"Of course, Father." Hinami smiled sweetly.
