Owen Hunt. The new head of trauma is pretty amazing, I have never seen anyone keep his cool like he does. "Well done Hunt" I say brushing past him after he has just revived someone "thank you Doctor Tearney" he says wiping his mouth. Smiling I carry on to the ER bed with a little girl in it "what seems to be the problem?" I ask Lexie Grey who is reading the girls chart "shortness of breath, seems to have swallowed something" she says and i look up at the mum who is currently biting her nail in nervousness "what did she swallow?" I ask and the mum flashes her eyes at me "lego" I nod my head and start to listen to the girls breathing "a big piece or little piece?" The mum seems puzzled on this before nodding her head and confirming "big" sighing I stand up straight and look down at the little girl "Doctor Grey, set her up in a room we will monitor her but it should come out on its own" the mum seems relieved and I move on.

The ER doors open and my mum and dad come in "mama, dad? What are you doing here?" I ask going over and hugging them both "I thought you weren't getting in until tomorrow night?" Mum swats me away like a fly and says "your father has a cardio appointment here and we thought why not move it up" I frown and look at my father, he looks the same as he usually does, strong and fatherly "what's wrong?" I ask suddenly panicked but he shakes his head and clasps my hand in his "nothings wrong sweetheart, it's just a regular check up" I show my
Parents to the elevator and give them directions to the cardio floor.

"Was that your parents?" Alex asks as he comes into work, he has two coffee's and hands one to me. I kiss his cheek and take a sip of the drink "yeah, my dad's got a cardio consult" I say biting my lip nervously, Alex notices this habit of mine and cups my face "hey hey hey what's wrong?" He asks searching my eyes for an answer without letting me speak, I lean into his touch comfortingly "mum said is just a routine check up but I don't believe. I don't know why" I admit. Alex leans forward and kisses my forehead "everything is going to be fine I am sure it's just as your mum said" he reassured me and then kisses me again "well I've got to go to rounds I'll see you later?" I nod still distracted by the thought of my parents in the hospital that I don't even notice when he walks away.

Mark seems to appear out of nowhere and dangles a donut bag in front of my face "is this for me?" I ask smiling and reach up to grab it "mhm" he says coming round from behind me and folds his arms. I look inside, it's a donut with a chocolate coating and pink sprinkles. Narrowing my eyes I look up at Mark "what do you want?" I ask, he never gets me this donut unless he wants something. Mark goes slightly red and shakes his head "nothing enjoy your donut" he says and disappears before I can interrogate him further.

I see mama and dad sitting in the cafeteria talking animatedly with each other "hola mama, papa" I greet, placing my tray down on the table and taking a seat next to mama. Mama takes a bite of her pasta and dad says in his sloppy Spanish "mum and I were speaking. We don't want to bother you so we asked Veronica is we can move in with her. That way we can help with the baby" shaking my head I put my pager on the table and reply "it's not big deal if you want to live with me it's fine" although secretly I am relieved as I felt nervous about having Alex over while my parents were here.
