"Y/N-chan! Look a leaf with a heart!"
You quickly hushed Jemima, and picked her up. "It's a trap," you whispered to her.
She made an 'o' shape with her lips, realizing, and falling quiet.
"Let's climb up a tree, okay? That's the safest place to be," You instructed, helping her make her way up the tree.
But then you heard quick steps, fast, running. Too hard to be a kids, too quick to even be Emma's.
"Quick, quick, quick," you whispered, practically throwing her up onto the branch. She held her hand out for you but you shook your head.
"Hide," you mouthed, before cutting through the grass and trees, purposefully putting more sound into your steps, crunching leaves and twigs, so she'd come chasing after you.
You saw the path up ahead, and heard more footsteps and heavy breathing. You ran straight ahead, nodding at Ray and Norman when they split up to keep running and stopping right in front of sister Krone, making her halt, skidding.
She barely stopped to not hit you.
Krone tilted her head and smiled, creepy, bone chilling. "Sacrifice, huh? How interesting."
You remembered what she said to Emma, although the memory was vague.
Norman was physically weak.
Ray gave up too easily.
Emma was too naive.
What were you then?
"Now that's just stupid dear."
Yeah.
Y/N was just stupid.
Stupid lucky, too.
You grinned.
"Yeah, really stupid.
Good luck getting Ray and Norman now though."
