"Hey, Y/N," Don spoke, after stopping you in the hallways, before breakfast.

"Mhm?" You asked, turning around, letting the younger ones run ahead of you. Don looked to the ground, seeming shameful. "Is something wrong?"

"Do you know?"

He looked up at you now. You tilted your head.

"Know what?"

"The truth."

You feigned innocence. "About what?"

Don gritted his teeth. "About... mama. And what happened to Conny. They must've told you before me and Gilda right?"

"Oh. Yes. The actual truth." You frowned. "I've known about it for a while... Ray told me when we were younger."

Haha. Lies.

"Oh, okay. I'm glad you weren't with us yesterday. I sort of overreacted."

"Did you punch Ray and Norman?"

Don looked up at you, a bit surprised. "How do you know?"

You shrugged. You weren't supposed to know, since you hadn't even seen the boys this morning. "Lucky guess," you said. "You look upset and shameful today, I'm assuming Ray and Norman are trying to look better and think of an excuse, which is why they're late, and you asked me about the truth. If I knew they were lying to me to get involved in the plan, and dragging me along with a fake story, I would get mad too."

"...yeah."

"Are you still mad?"

"No," Don answered quickly. "Will you still be helping us?"

"Of course," you answered. "Whatever you need, I'm here."

You doubted they'd need you though. And you knew not to interfere too much.

They'd get out safely if all went well, after all.
