September 7, 1985

Lindsey and Christopher were not in the house. They were at Chris and Lori's place getting ready for the wedding, leaving Stevie and Lori at Amalfi.

"Stevie I'm so nervous." Lori sighs walking into the master bedroom from the closet. Eliza had just finished taming her red curly hair into gorgeous updo.

Stevie had William at three months old laying on his back in the middle of the king. He was still wearing his onesie from the night prior and he was playing with some toys, chewing on them mostly and she had three outfits splayed out next to him.

"Don't be nervous. You and Chris love each other. It's been a year together now. Everything is going to be okay." Stevie assures her.

"I know, but I'm still freaking out."

"I'm going to go get my hair and makeup done. I'll let you pick out his little outfit." Stevie states reaching over and squeezing Lori's hand.

Eliza does Stevie's hair in a half up half down bun, leaving the bottom half long and curly and when Stevie re-emerges Lori has made herself comfortable on the bed and was bouncing William on her lap.

"Which one did you pick?" Stevie asks.

"The red and denim one." Lori answers. It was a shirtsleeve chambray onesie with a little red bowtie paired with a pair of red shorts and khaki suspenders.

"Oh such a cutie." Stevie goes over and kisses his little cheek.

"Dress time." Eliza says in a sing song-y voice.

Arriving at the wedding venue, Stevie is the first one out of the car showing off her light purple number. Barbara approaches her so she can take William. Lori's brother and his wife bring their children to her. They curtsey and then she starts getting everyone lined up. Once they're situated, Lori's father helps her out of the car and the crowd watching coos and awes at not only the image of Lori, but the baby who will lead the procession with Barbara. If Stevie wasn't the maid of honor, she'd be the one leading the procession.

The church is set up so lovely. The flowers are roses and baby breaths, but there's lilac-purple chiffon draped at the edge of the seats, around the columns and on the walls. The flowers are in little lilac purple vases.

At the alter, Lindsey and Christopher are waiting. Even though she's the queen and it's Chris' wedding he and Lindsey will both have to bow to her when she gets up there and Lori will as well when Stevie takes her bouquet from her. Stevie's favorite thing of the day though is when Lori walks down the aisle and Chris just beams at her.

Lindsey left the reception around 7:30 to put William down for the night and by the time Stevie stumbled in, it was broaching 2:30 in the morning.

"Did everyone finally leave?" He asks kind of sleepily.

"Yeah, everyone finally left." Stevie nods.

"Want me to help you get out of your dress?" Lindsey inquires.

"Please." Stevie nods.

Lindsey crawls out of the bed and then he walks behind her. Before he even starts to unzip her dress, he rubs her shoulders and kisses the back of her head and she falls into him.

"I can draw you a bath too." Lindsey tells her.

"No, that's okay. I just want to crawl into bed." She sighs stepping out of the dress and walking into the closet. She neatly hangs the dress, as it'll be put in the museum with Lori's dress, takes her makeup off and slips into her emerald green chiffon chemise.

Lindsey's feeding William when she finally crawls into the bed and peers over his arm to see the suckling infant.

"Mr. Buckingham, you look good with a baby." She smiles.

"Why thank you Ms. Nicks, you look good with a baby as well." He winks at her.

"Mrs. Buckingham."

"Hmm?"

"You called me Ms. Nicks. I'm Mrs. Buckingham...just because I didn't change my last name, doesn't mean I'm not still Mrs. Buckingham."

"It kinda does...." Lindsey trails.

"I like being Mrs. Buckingham though." She pouts.

"You coulda changed your name."

"I'm Mrs. Buckingham." She huffs crossing her arms.

"Alright Mrs. Buckingham, you look good with a baby too." Lindsey rolls his eyes.

When William is done eating, Stevie takes him into her arms, burps him and puts him back to sleep and she finally settles in for the night with Lindsey.

"Was Lori happy with the wedding?" Lindsey asks rubbing her bicep. She had cuddled up on his chest.

"Yeah she was. All her dreams came true today. She married the prince. Almost like a real life princess tale." Stevie nods.

"Good, I'm glad we could play a part in it." Lindsey chuckles.

"Brandon freaked her out though." Stevie laughs.

"Oh when he pretended to drop the rings." Lindsey states.

"Yeah, can you imagine if he had lost it?" Stevie inquires.

"That's why we didn't have a ring bearer and a flower girl." Lindsey smirks.

"Sure it was...Lindsey, you should kiss me." She looks up at him.

"I can do that yeah." He nods.

He leans down and attaches his lips to hers. They make out for several minutes and Stevie eventually moans into his mouth quietly.

"Steph." Lindsey warns.

"He's not going to remember anything." Stevie replies pushing him back and swinging her leg over his hip.

Eventually she makes her way on top of him and she starts grinding her hips against his. "We don't even have to take our clothes off." She whispers into his ear biting at his jawline.

"He's going to sense it." Lindsey whimpers.

"He's fine." Stevie pushes, her hands snaking down to start playing with his personal member.

Both out of breath, Stevie collapses back beside him, her chemise bunched up by her hips. She turns her head to the right to peer into the cradle where there little man has rolled onto his stomach looking right at his mother sleeping peacefully, his little chest rising and falling.

"See he didn't even budge." Stevie explains.

Lindsey pushes up and looks at him. "I guess so."

"I missed you." She states.

"I've been right here the whole time."

"I guess a more accurate thing to say is I missed doing That with you."

"So me fucking you while you were in labor didn't ruin it for you?"

"Lindsey that was something else."

"What do you mean?"

"It was euphoric but at the same time it was so painful. I don't even know how to explain it." She shakes her head.

"Well, it got him here."

"That it did in both instances." She explains.

"That is true. Goodnight Steph."

"I think you mean good morning." She points to the clock on the wall where four in the morning was shown.

"Let's try to get a in a couple of hours before he wakes up." Lindsey kisses her again and they finally settle in for sleep.
