The alarm clock woke them up and Stevie whined nuzzling deeper into Lindsey. Though it's only been like ten days as a couple, she finds that the nights with Lindsey are just so much better. They don't do anything except cuddle but as she nuzzles into his shoulder to try and drown out the alarm clock she decided right then and there, that she never wanted to sleep separately from him ever again.
"Come on we've gotta get up you have that unveiling thingy for your father today." He rubs her back.
"I know, but I don't want to, it's just going to make me sad." Stevie huffs.
"But you have to, you are the queen." He explains.
"Dress or a skirt?" She asks.
"I haven't seen you in a skirt yet." He tells her.
She blows out a breath against his skin and then she rolls out of bed and makes her way towards the closet.
"I like that thing." He says aloud.
"What?" She questions.
"That Lacey silky thing. I like it."
"It's just what I sleep in." She shakes her head.
"I know, but you look good in it." He tells her getting out of bed himself. Stevie was notorious for night showers or baths because they relaxed her. So while she was getting ready, he was going to take a shower.
Stevie opted to wear and a black and white plaid suit. The pencil skirt fell to her mid thigh and the blazer was an open front three quarter length sleeved blazer. She tucked a rust colored silk sleeveless blouse into the skirt and slid her feet into her black pumps.
Eliza, her make up artist and hair stylist arrived just as Lindsey was walking into the closet a towel wrapped loosely around his hips.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you were here yet." Lindsey apologizes a light blush coating his cheek as he tightened the towel and quickly grabbed at his one pair of suit pants and a grey button down.
"Um, Lindsey this is Eliza my stylist. Eliza this is my fiancé, Duke Lindsey Buckingham from Ellerton."
"Sir." Eliza nods to him as he gives a small smile and grabs his stuff to go change in the bedroom.
"He's a looker." Eliza smirks.
"Yes, yes he is...I'm lucky." Stevie nods.
"How's he in bed?" She pokes.
"Eliza!" Stevie scolds.
"What, I'm serious...A guy that looks like that, has to have some moves."
"We haven't done anything together yet." She shakes her head.
"What! That's surprising. You usually sleep with a man rather quickly." Eliza gasps.
"I know, but there's something different about him. I want to wait, so it's special." She shrugs.
"Alright, well you're done. You look beautiful." Eliza smiles revealing her face. She had pinned her hair back into a low prom-like bun that was off to the side slightly.
"As always Eliza, you're a miracle worker." She smiles.
"I pride myself on it." She smirks.
"Would you like to stay for Breakfast?" Stevie asks.
"No, I'm okay...don't eat anything that'll fuck up your lips...And if you do...here you go." She hands her the mauvey-pink lipstick she had applied.
"I'll try. Thanks Eliza."
"I'll show myself out...and don't make out with that hunk cause you'll..."
"Ruin my lipstick I know." She rolls her eyes.
"See you." She waves walking out of the house. Stevie usually does her own makeup, Eliza only comes around when it's for a public appearance or royal function. She sticks the lipstick in her clutch for the day and then she ventures downstairs.
Lindsey is eating a bowl of cereal when she gets down there and he looks her up and down. "You look great."
"Thanks." she smiles grabbing a banana and ripping it to pieces so she can eat it better. "I was told I couldn't kiss you because it'd fuck up my make up."
"Oh so you want to kiss me?" He asks.
"Don't push it."

Arriving at the museum, Stevie takes a shakey breath and before they get out of the car Lindsey grabs her hand.
"You're okay, I'm right here. If it gets too much look at me alright." He grabs her chin and makes eye contact with her.
She nods and he smiles getting out of the car to help her out.
The exhibit about King Jess was spectacular. Lindsey's kingdom had never ever done anything like that for any of the past rulers, Kings or otherwise so he was taken by the whole thing. There was a portrait of him on the wall. His king garb was displayed on a mannequin. It consisted of a black tunic suit jacket over a white high neck button up. There was a white neckerchief around the neck as well. There was a pair of red pants and black dress shoes. There was a gold sash over the shoulder, with the kingdom's insignia, and different medals. Stevie informed him that she wouldn't have one because she wasn't enlisted in the Military. There was also some of his baby clothes, personal pictures of him with his family. Hand written letters he had written to Barbara. There was also his own crown. As soon as the heir to throne is born, the reining king or queen designs the crown to be placed on the head of the newest ruler when they are crowned.
This was the first time that Lindsey had met Christopher, Lori, and Barbara and as awkward and solemn as it was, Barbara seemed to like him. She hugged him and he kissed her cheek and she complimented his suit. He blushingly told her that he had worn in several times out with Stevie because he hadn't gone back to Ellerton to collect his things. That would be happening right after the unveiling. There was a little luncheon. He'd make an appearance and kiss her before he hit the road to Ellerton for the weekend to get his dog and his stuff.
As Stevie gave her speech she did look directly at Lindsey and he kept his promise by maintaining eye contact with her. As soon as he kissed her goodbye in front of a million cameras she becomes instantly sad and she wasn't looking forward to the weekend ahead.
