January 29, 1983

The ceremony was beautiful. It was done in the early morning, as it was a Sunday, so it happened before the ten o'clock church services. Lindsey and Stevie didn't attend because they were taking their pictures and doing everything they needed to be. Her wedding dress was similar to her coronation dress. She had been queen now for about 23 days now.

Her coronation dress was a beaded and embroidered A-line gown with and off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline. It was strapless, itchy and pure tule. It was a rose gold color, but it was really pretty and it was supposed to show her innocence. The first female to be crowned as the ruler. Jess had been the oldest boy, her grandfather Aaron had been the oldest boy, and so on and so forth. Her reign as queen was something so brand new to Everfi that the pink color was supposed to embody that.

Her wedding dress was a beaded and embroidered a-line gown with an off the shoulder sweetheart neckline but it had long drapey sleeves. It was pure white the base of it chiffon. it was just as puffy and layered as her coronation dress but it felt better on the skin because it was chiffon and she usually wore chiffon so it was breathable and moveable.  She had her hair in a low bun and a long veil that added more length to the train of the dress.

They got married in the gardens of Amalfi. They had strung up Christmas lights, per Stevie's request. They got married in front of the white roses, and only important people where present. Stevie met Lindsey's family for the first time. Lindsey got to chose his attire for the wedding, though it was televised for the whole world to see, he refused to get married in a monkey suit so he settled for a pair of jeans, a white button up and a gray suit jacket.  A silver ring was placed on Lindsey's finger and they kissed as the sun was rising.

There was a brunch to follow and then finally the reception where Lindsey ditched his jacket and  Stevie changed into a reception dress. Her reception dress was form fitting but it flowed out starting at the hips into a train. Not as long as her wedding dress, but still quite a train. It was sleeveless compared to the long sleeved wedding dress. This dress also had a sweet heart neckline but it was pure lace. Both of her dresses, would be put into the museum for a special exhibit so after the reception and everyone was on their way home, Stevie had hung up both of her dresses before crawling in bed with Lindsey wearing a see through white chemise nightgown.

Lindsey decided that he didn't want to be King Lindsey, he'd stay Prince Lindsey, Duke of Ellerton but that didn't stop Stevie as she crawled on top of him.

"So my king, I guess we have to consummate our marriage now."

"I guess so my queen...hey aren't we supposed to be sleeping in separate bedrooms? Isn't that what royals do."

"Not us royals." She shakes her head pressing her weight down onto his pelvis and swooping down to kiss him.

"Well, that is quite the sexy night gown." He winks.

"It would look better off." She winks.

"That is true." He agrees tugging on the hem of it and pulling it over her head.

They made love into the night and then as Stevie was slowly drifting off Lindsey said something that caused her eyes to bulge out of her head.

"So I guess the next thing is trying for a baby."

She shot up and looked at him. "Lindsey, we are NOT trying for a baby."

"Stevie we have to ensure the monarchy."

"I know...if it happens it happens, but I will not start tracking my cycle to see when I ovulate. We're just going to have sex when we feel like it and if we end up having a baby we end up having a baby." She explains.

"Stevie you're going to be 36 in May there really isn't a lot of time left for us."

"There is at least 19 years left for us."

"You don't know when you're going to start menopause. You could be 42, or hell you could be 60."

"The average age for a woman to start menopause is 50-55. If we haven't had a child in 13 years, then we'll start worrying about it. But right now, we are NOT going to focus on having a baby. When it happens, if it happens, it happens." She looks at him.

All Lindsey does is role over.

"You knew I didn't want kids Lindsey. You shouldn't be acting like this."

"Stevie, it's our wedding night and I've fallen in love with you. You haven't fallen in love with me yet, that's fine. But I've fallen in love with you. And I've started thinking about it. You don't even have to take care of the kid. I'll do it all after you give birth. I just think it would be nice to have a baby. Good night Steph."

She just huffs, but none the less, she presses her bare breasts to his back and she wraps her arms around his chest buries her face in his shoulder blade before closing her eyes to try and get some sleep.

The next morning, when she wakes up, Lindsey is not in bed with her and she just pouts before looking around the room. She yawns and climbs out of bed, grabbing her white silk robe and going on the hunt for her husband.

She found him in the backyard, throwing the ball around for tucker. She tightened her bathrobe around herself and then she headed outside.

"Lindsey." She looks at him.

"Yeah?" He asks.

"Have you eaten yet?" She inquires.

"No, I haven't." He answers.

"I'm sorry about last night. Can I make you some chocolate chip pancakes to apologize?" She inquires.

"Yeah, you can...and it's okay. I get it. I just, can't help but picture a little you running around. But I respect you and your feelings." He looks at her as Tucker brings him the ball back.

She walks over to him and gets on her tip toes to kiss his cheek and then she heads back into the house to work on breakfast.
