Stevie knew exactly what was happening. Her body was being very obvious about what was happening but she wasn't too concerned about it because when she was in labor with William it took about three days. She had sunk into a bath and she was working through a contraction, quietly and peacefully when Lindsey came in to go pee. It wasn't uncommon for them to go into the bathroom and to do their business while someone was in the bath or the shower but Lindsey didn't even go pee because he saw what was happening.

"Steph, you okay?" He asks

"Whooo, no....I'm in labor." She winces shifting lightly in the tub.

"Okay, so I should...." She cuts him off.

"No, don't do anything yet. Call Chris and Lori. They agreed to watch him while we were having the baby. Then go drop him off. Try not to wake him up as you put him in the car. After you drop him off come back and we'll see where we are."

"You're being way more calm this time than you were the first time."

"This time I'm at home and I know what to expect. I've done this before." Stevie had fully recovered from her contraction.

"Alright. I love you...don't have the baby until I get back."

"I'll try not to." Stevie smirks.

When Lindsey got home, Stevie had emerged from the tub and she was laying on the bed in her bathrobe. She was on her side and he could see her clutching at his pillow and working her way through a contraction. He nodded and climbed on the bed and started rubbing her back.

"They're so intense Lindsey." She groans once it passes.

"More intense than William?"

"Way more intense." She nods.

"Has your water broken?" Lindsey asks.

"No, oh god, here's another one."

"Steph that's like two minutes."

"I know, it's happening fast Linds."

That's how it goes for another five minutes and then Stevie pushes him away from her and as soon as she stands up out of the bed a puddle of water hits the floor and they could see how much her stomach had actually dropped.

"Alright, I'm going to call Dr. Skye, go find something to wear." He kisses her forehead.

"I'm scared." Her lip wobbles.

"I know, but we're going to be okay, it's all going to be okay." He assures pressing his forehead to hers and rubbing his nose against her.

She changes into a  white and black striped sweater and her black stretchy pants. She shoots herself for not having any comfy shoes for the winter so she settles on her platform boots and Lindsey has to physically help her walk into the hospital and keep her balance because of the pain that was coursing through her body.

She was checked upon admission, must like she was with William and then she labored at the Hospital for another hour and a half before she started pushing.

January 10th, 1989

The clock had just struck midnight so it was officially January 10th. She had gone into labor around six the night prior so she was progressing much faster this time around. She had been pushing for just as long though, almost three hours but they were both especially happy when at 12:09 in the morning, very much like their older brother, Dr. Skye called out, "It's a girl."

"A girl?" Stevie asks falling back into the pillows her hands open and waiting for the baby to be placed on her chest.

"Yeah you have a little princess." Dr. Skye smiles placing the screaming baby up on Stevie's chest.

"Oh my god, Lindsey a girl."

"Yeah a girl Steph." He sniffles kissing her head.

"Daddy do you want to cut the cord?"

"I can...I wasn't allowed to with William." He looks at Dr. Skye.

"Hospital rules had a change last year." Dr. Skye shrugs.

"Yeah, of course, I'd love to cut the cord." Lindsey states.

Dr. Skye addresses where Lindsey needs to cut. Stevie is given a Pitocin injection in her thigh, and then she delivers the placenta. Dr. Waller had an emergency so he hadn't made it to the Royal's private room yet so they were having way more bonding time with this baby and Stevie was relishing in it.

"Alight, I'm going to make sure you're placenta is complete and then I'll get out of your hair. You didn't need stitches this time." Dr. Skye tells her.

Stevie nods and goes back to loving on her baby but all of a sudden she takes in a breath and starts tapping on Lindsey's arm with the back of her hand.

"What?" Lindsey asks.

"Take her, take her."

"Why, what's wrong Steph?" Lindsey asks taking the baby into his arms.

"I have to push."

"You have to push."

"I have to push."

"You what?" Dr. Skye looks at her.

"Have to push...Oh my god." She can't hold off anymore she just brings her chin to her chest and she pushes.

"Oh, woah.... Page Dr. Waller NOW and get a NICU team up here. There's a really tiny head."

"A what?" Stevie asks pushing again.

"Okay, um Stevie....there's another baby."

"WHAT!" She gasps pushing again.

"Yeah, okay, they're a little stuck, so I'm going to insert my hand. Relax for me."

"Holy Shit." Stevie groans.

"Here she is." Dr. Skye says as a very small very weak cry leaves the baby.

"Can I see her, is she okay...Is she okay." Stevie was trying endlessly to crane her neck to see the whimpering baby. "Lindsey."

He stands up with the first baby to walk over and see what was happening with her twin but Dr. Skye stopped him and sent him back over to Stevie. It was then that Dr. Waller walked in followed by an incubator and several other machines. Those babies were not allowed to be in a room other than Stevie's so they were literally creating a little NICU in Stevie's hospital room.  Another Doctor follows in Dr. Waller and the whole time Stevie is crying and panicking because no one is telling her what's going on.
