Hiding her pregnancy from Lindsey was a bitch. It really was. She had snuck out two weeks ago to go for another check up where she was given the all clear, and then she just had to figure out how she was going to tell everyone. It was Thanksgiving and she still hasn't figured it out. But what she was doing was getting ready for family dinner. She wasn't showing, she just looked bloated. What she had been hiding from Lindsey was the vomiting and the increased appetite. Increased appetite. That's how she was going to explain her pregnancy.

With that in mind she turned around to find her comfy clothes. She had a pair of black sleek silky leather looking aerobics leggings so she squeezed her butt, which had gotten slightly larger, into those and then she paired it with an oversized long sleeve grey, white, and black color block shirt. It was usually tucked into a skirt and it looked really cute, but she was wearing it loose so it covered said growing butt and then she stepped into her mid-thigh high, high heeled platform boots. She did an expertly neat bun on the top of her head and as she walked into the living room where Lindsey was watching football he cocked an eyebrow.

"You're a little under dressed for dinner." He states.

"I don't give a shit. We're hosting it this year, I've been cooking all day, I can be comfy if I want to." She huffs crossing her arms.

"Speaking of cooking, you should start on the deviled eggs and ham rolls."

"Did you peel the eggs for me like I asked?" She inquires bending over and wrapping his arms around him from behind the coach.

"I did. I broke a couple but I gave them to Tucker." He states. And almost as if he's agreeing Tucker huffs from his spot on his dog bed.

Stevie just giggles lightly and kisses his cheek. Her vomiting had seized in the last week and a half which she was grateful for because she wouldn't have been able to dress the turkey and dig out the giblets if it didn't. Dinner would still be a while. Barbara was bringing green bean casserole, Lori was bringing something called Braim, which was a greek form of roasted vegetables, her nationality is greek. Stevie had been working on turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, multiple pies, and roasted squash since about eight that morning. Dinner would be at six-thirty but the family would be arriving between three and five so Stevie was having little horderves for everyone to snack on. These included ham rolls, deviled eggs, cheese, crackers, and sausage, and a fruit and veggie kebab tray.

Lori and Christopher were first. Chris flocked to the television, Lori to the kitchen.

"Have you told him yet?"

"No, at dinner." She shrugs.

"How are you going to do it."

"I'm going to eat...a lot...and see if anyone notices."

"Is that smart?" Lori asks.

"Lori I've been ravenous for like three weeks." She explains.

"Well alright." She laughs.

The family Christmas card was taken at 6 and Stevie was by far the most underdressed for the family Christmas card and Barbara had been giving her disdained looks all afternoon. And it made it even worse when Stevie ate three full plates of food.

"Stephanie Lynn control yourself you are the queen, your image is everything." Barbara scolds.

"Mother, I'm in my house. On Thanksgiving, I can eat what I want." She states.

"Stephanie what is going on with you. First this unacceptable Thanksgiving outfit. All the food you are consuming. it's like you don't care about the image of this Kingdom."
