Dixie rolled down her bathroom wall after a long day of work. Why did she deserve this? She asked herself the same question every day. She needed an answer. Why her? Why? All the memories were coming back.

''NO, NO, NO, STOP'' she yelled at herself helplessly. She couldn't stop them. Whenever she closed her eyes clear images of the scene came back. She felt helpless as the walls started caving in. Here we go again. She mentally prepared herself for what was to come, she was used to it by now, after all it had been happening every night for years.

An hour had passed, and she sat on the bathroom floor feeling like someone had just stabbed her repeatedly, she had just experienced another one of her panic attacks. It felt like a daily occurrence because to be honest, it was.

She mustered up the courage and dragged herself to Addison's house. She was too embarrassed to tell anyone else about it, even her own sister.

''Oh no not again, poor thing'', Addison said taking Dixie into her arms. Even she was used to it. She was glad that Dixie would come to her when she needed something, and she didn't mind that it was for the same reason every time.

''It's happening again Addison. I- I don't know what to do anymore, I feel helpless'' Addison sighed pulling Dixie closer ''Maybe you should try the therapist again?'', she suggested. Dixie had lost hope with everyone, she was sure not even a therapist could fix her. She was broken and she truly believed she couldn't get better.

She recalled the same scenes every single night. Her and her parents where at a metro station when a man came up to them. He chucked darkly and her parents went pale. She didn't understand what was going on, she was only 9. The tall, old man pulled out a gun and that was it. Both her parents fell to the ground with a big thud! That's all she could remember. No one would tell her anything else. Even her grandparents. A year ago, on her 18th birthday she decided to distance herself from her family, what she had left of it at least. She felt as though they were hiding something from her. She felt betrayed. The only person she kept in contact with was Charli. They barely spoke, but when they did it wasn't awkward.

Recently her panic attacks were even worse as she thought she saw the same man walking around in her neighbourhood. She tried desperately to convince herself that she was just being paranoid, after all it had been 10 years! There was no way she still remembered his face. Although she knew it was very unlikely that this was true that thought stayed at the back of her mind at all times.

That night Addison let her sleep over and truthfully, it made her feel better. The next day, as her and Addison made their way to College Addison went on about this new guy that had moved into town and was coming to our college today. Dixie didn't pay much mind to it as it wasn't new for people to come to her well-known college mid-year.

Her day was going completely fine until she looked up only to see the man that she thought was behind the murder of her parents. She felt sick to her stomach and her legs started to shake. She ran the other direction without a second thought, she ran until she couldn't run any longer. She found herself in a somewhat empty park with just a few kids playing around. She sat on a bench far from any people. Her heart was racing out of fear and anger.

The silence was disrupted by her phone ringing. She looked at it and declined after seeing it was Addison. She couldn't talk to anyone right now; she didn't want to talk to anyone. She just wanted to be left alone.

She put her head on her hands and sat there trying to get her mind off things but before she knew it an hour had passed, and she felt worse than she had ever felt. She knew she had to go to college and quite honestly didn't want to miss it. She gathered her stuff and hurried to college. Knowing that she'd have to contain herself if she ran into him again.
