⚠️SUICIDE MENTIONS⚠️

Wednesday January 19 2022, 11:58 a.m

''YOUR STUPID WORKER TOLD ME I HAD TO SIT THERE'', she yelled. Her good mood just went down the drain. She should've known she couldn't be happy for more than 20 minutes.

''I never told her to do that! How is this my fault?!'', he said.

''How is it your fault? IT'S YOUR FAULT BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT ME HERE!'', and she thought she would be friends with him. As if.

''You know what... If you don't want to be here then don't! I'm trying to protect you! As soon as my dad sees you, you will be dead, mark my words.''

Hearing that should've been scary for Dixie but it wasn't. The word 'fear' was no longer present in her vocabulary. She wasn't scared of anything or anyone. ''How?'', you may ask. She wasn't scared of death, she had nothing to loose. If someone wanted to take her life they could and she wouldn't stop them. She didn't have parents who would be sad if she died. Her other family members were a bunch of weirdos who wouldn't care either, so why not?

''I don't care Noah! I don't care if he kills me! I don't have anything to loose!'', she replied.

''Why don't you care? You should! I care Dixie! Please just do it for me because if you die I will never forgive myself because it will be my fault!'', he said desperately.

''I don't want to Noah! Please just let me die! You'll get over it you don't even know me personally'', she exclaimed.

''Dixie...'', he sighed looking down.

She walked over to him and grabbed his arm. She wasn't in her senses in that moment, if she was she wouldn't be touching him. Although she wasn't a softie, seeing Noah like that kind of hurt her. For the first time she felt sympathetic for someone. It was a weird feeling, really weird. For the first time she felt that someone relied on her. She felt like she had a reason to continue, not for her but for someone else, him.

''I want to do it for you Noah but I can't'', a tear fell down her face. Was this the real Dixie? It can't be. Dixie never cried for someone else other than her parents. Especially boys. She never even looked at a boy from closer than 3 feet. She was really close to Noah, only a few inches were between her and the boy that she just cried for.

''Dixie if you go down I'll go down soon'', he whispered trying to hide how shocked he was that Dixie just grabbed his arm out of nowhere.

In that moment she wasn't thinking of how she 'betrayed' her parents. She thought about how strongly the man in front of her cared about her. He just said he would kill himself for her.

What she did next was beyond her. She lifted his face up with her hand, gently, and made him look at her with her hand still tightly gripped on his arm.

''I'll do it.'', she smiled.

This was a moment straight from a fairy-tale, except for the fact that she was talking to the man whose father killed her parents. If you didn't know them personally you would 100% think they were dating.

By then Noah had started tearing up too. Non of them realised what they were doing and how suspicious this might have looked to an outsider. They just stood there lost in each others eye's for a couple of seconds before they both heard a knock on the door.

It was that woman from earlier. Dixie just rolled her eyes, laid on her bed and took out her phone again.

''Sir, I need to talk to you'', she said sweetly.

''I need to talk to you too, I need some time alone first please.'', Noah commented, not so sweetly.

With that she walked out and they were alone once again. It was slightly awkward until Noah broke the silence, asking Dixie for her number and socials. Dixie gave them to him happily. There was no more hate, anger or resentment towards each other. They understood each other and understood what they went through, to a certain level.

Before leaving, Noah shot Dixie a sweet smile and Dixie smiled back. What they were doing may seem flirty but to them it was a friendly gesture. Neither of them had ever had partners so they didn't exactly know what flirting was.

She decided to text Noah before going to bed, nothing too much just a friendly message. Re-assuring him that she was there for him, because she was.

''Hey, I hope you know that I understand where you are coming from, and I know it took me a long time to, but I finally get it and I promise I'll be there for you when you need me. Good night <3.''

This was the start of new beginnings for both of them. This was a chance to prove everyone wrong and to give others hope. When you're at your lowest the one person that you need to complete yourself will find you. It will happen in the weirdest ways, but it will happen. Whether it was a typical romance movie plot or it was the person that kidnapped you. Your missing half will be found, and they will take away all the pain in your life and bring you to your highest. They will protect you from the world's dangers and they will do anything to see you happy.

Most of all they will love you like no one else ever did and they will show you that they love you. You will be complete at last. And you will live the happiest years of your life. It might take time, but it will be worth it in the end.

Some people ruin it for themselves and don't give back what they get. Others end up in a fantasy world and become the best they can be. They change not physically but mentally. They become a better person and strive with each other.

Yes, they both had a lack of experience in relationships but that would only make them want it more. It would be their first love.

Although this would be cute, it probably wouldn't happen. Dixie wouldn't let herself be related to his family. She wouldn't want her kids to be bought up in that family. She didn't want that stupid excuse of a man to be her kids' grandfather. Absolutely not.

But maybe it would be worth if he was the man of her dreams.

Hey, our school might be re-opening soon so that'll be fun, but I still have a lot to do.

Also, I've been reading lately so does anyone have any appropriate mystery book recommendations?

I'm currently reading ''Murder at the museum'' by Lena Jones.
