Noah woke up feeling worse than he's ever felt before. He wanted to sleep and never wake up; he was mentally drained. Noah had never had any mental health problems before, but he could see some developing slowly and that worried him, really worried him.

His hands would randomly start shaking and his breathing would start to get heavy, he felt helpless. To be honest, he was. He knew it was too early to give up but there was a constant voice in his head begging for him to do just that. Being the kind-hearted gentlemen that he was he didn't care how hurt he was, he needed to help Dixie before it was too late.

He snapped back to reality and realised he didn't have much time. With that he was ready and out the door in no longer than 30 minutes. He went to campus finding the girl who was always with Dixie. He decided to give it a try. He made his way over to her and introduced himself.

''Hi, I'm Noah and I need to ask for a favour'', he nervously said knowing that this was his last chance.

''Hi?'', she said flustered.

''I need to know where your friend is. Not that I know she's your friend, it's just that I see you with her a lot. I- I'm not stalking you I promise.'', he stuttered starting to contemplate doing this.

Noah was obviously expecting this, but nothing could have prepared him for what she said next.

''Look I can't tell you anything about Dixie, as rude as I sound, she does NOT like you and she does NOT feel comfortable with you so for god's sake leave both of us alone and continue on with your life'', she said before getting up and quickly walking off.

Noah stood there stunned but more than anything he was disappointed not at Dixie or Addison but at himself. Disappointed at himself for thinking he had a chance. Disappointed that he thought he could save her.

He was a disappointment.

He wanted to break down right there and cry. He couldn't do it anymore. He wanted to act like nothing was wrong, he HAD acted like nothing was wrong, but it was wrong. Everything was wrong. Everything is wrong. Everything will continue to be wrong, and it will never get better, he needed to get that into his head.

Things will not get better. They haven't. They won't.

He didn't know what to do next. He had two options.

One, he would let Dixie die and live with even more regrets.

Two, he would do something that would make Dixie hate him but maybe appreciate it later.

Both of the options were equally risky. The second one a little more. He knew he needed to do it though. He needed to stay strong not for him but for her. He thought about his dad and anger rushed through his veins. He took life away from innocent soles. He ruined them, he ruined his own son.

Noah quickly wiped his tears looking around to see if anyone had seen him crying, someone had. It was her. Dixie, she was there looking at him sadness in her eyes. It was the first time in his life that someone looked at him like that, he loved it. It seemed like someone finally cared. He knew that this would be the last time she would look at him like that because after what he was about to do, she wouldn't want to even breathe the same air as him.

He shot her a short and fake smile before running of to his house. Dixie sat there feeling so bad. He was hurt and he still smiled, that hurt her, seeing that he thought he had to put on a smile and hide his sadness. No one should ever have to do that. She knew it was partly her fault, but she didn't want to be hard on herself, she knew that was the best decision she could make for herself. Was it selfish? Maybe, but this was the first time she had done this in years. She deserved it.

Noah got back home out of breath and quickly got his keys; next he ran to his dad's office grabbing a safehouse key then he packed a bunch of things before going to his Black SUV and driving back to campus hoping Dixie was still there, she was. He sat in his car taking deep breaths hoping that he didn't bring Dixie any pain during this process. He knew he would though, but he also knew he had to do this.

He got out of the car and looked around everywhere. Sure, enough there was no one, he walked up to Dixie and whispered ''I'm so sorry I have to'' he grabbed her quickly but making sure to be gentle and not touch her in private places. A tear fell down his face as he was doing so, after one they started flowing.

He put his hand on her mouth and took her to his car. He put her in the backseat quickly but carefully. She was letting out screams that were muffled by Noah's hand, hearing her so distressed broke him. He put her seatbelt on and closed the door not forgetting to lock it. He got into the driver's seat and Dixie finally saw who he was.

''WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LET ME GO I NEED TO GO PLEASE PLEASE!'', she yelled sobbing and shaking.

''I'm so sorry, I promise I'm not going to hurt you, I'm trying to protect you! I want to tell you the truth about your parents! I want to help you! I promise.'', he said wiping his tears away hoping she didn't see them.

''PLEASE LET ME GO PLEASE! I DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THEM JUST PLEASE!'', she yelled putting her head on her hands.

''please'', she said again practically begging.

''MY DAD WILL KILL YOU!'', Noah said frustrated.

''I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell.'' Noah said stopping the car and looking down feeling defeated.

''W-what?'', she said confused.

''I'll tell you more about what I know when we get home'', he said looking in the rear-view mirror making sure his dad's men weren't following him.

''It's not safe for you here. I know you don't trust me, but I'll try my best to protect you. Even if that means taking a bullet'' he said starting to drive again.

Dixie was stunned as she was still trying to process what was going on. What just happened? This boy from school had just kidnapped her and was saying he had to protect her? She was more than confused but part of her wanted to know what he knew about her parents. Was he linked to the murderer? So many un-answered questions were going to be answered soon. She didn't know if she should be excited or terrified.

****************************

Update I didn't write another chapter that night.

BUT I had so much fun making this chapter idk why but there's something about this chapter that makes me sad and happy. Its adorable and terrifying at the same time. Also, the date and time on the top of each chapter is when I start the chapter, I usually finish it like a week later. That's all <3
