after our body collides for hours on end.
you shouldn't leave me.
you shouldn't leave my body shaking,
as you go on your phone,
or close your eyes for hours,
failing to take care of my own body.
a true lover should help your clothing over your head,
kissing your forehead,
calling you beautiful,
reminding them,
how their body isn't the only reason the love for you is there.
don't leave your lover,
wondering if they have just been used for their body.
don't leave your lover,
feeling as though they didn't do good enough for those hours,
because you acted like it didn't happen,
ignoring your lover sitting their.
after our bodies collide,
please take care of me,
take care of me mentally,
physically.
please,
don't leave me wondering if my body is even enough,
or if my body is the only thing enough for you.
