Natalia's P.O.V
-------------

I was quite surprised.
Like literally, Minow was one of the calmest persons I'd ever met.
She had barely reacted to time traveling, and now she was just casually admiring the view of a very futuristic city.
Then she turned to me.
"Natalia, where are your grandparents?" She asked.
I pointed behind her.
"They're about two miles south, south-east from here," I told her.
"Can you flash us straight to them?" Rose asked.
I nodded.
"Ya, let's go," I said.
As they grabbed my arms again, I clapped my hands together.
The more experience I had with this traveling thing, the easier it got.
We all landed perfectly on our feet in my grandparent's living room.
I glanced up, then froze, as grandma and grandpa were sitting on the couch, and they had seen us flash in.
They looked on in shock for a moment, then grandma recognized my face.
"Natalia?" She asked incredulously.
"You're a time traveler as well?"
Well.
Looks like they did know something.
I nodded numbly, exchanging glances with Rose and Minow.
I fiddled with my fingers, trying to ignore the inherent awkwardness that filled the room.
Then my grandma stood up.
"Well, you'd better have a rather fine excuse for not visiting for so long young lady," she grumbled.
"I-I.." I stuttered.
My grandma's eyes softened.
"Come here," she said, holding her arms out.
I ran into them, welcoming her warm homey feeling.
My grandpa messed my hair up with his knuckles.
"Good to see you again kiddo," he exclaimed happily.
"It's good to see you too," I mumbled.
My grandma pulled away.
Then her gaze caught on Minow.
"Minow, is that you sweetie?" She asked.
I quickly glanced between grandma and Minow.
Had I mentioned Minow's name before?
No that wouldn't make sense.
I hadn't visited my grandparents at all after I met Minow, and I hadn't said her name yet.
The only logical explanation was that they had met before.
But Minow was from the past...
Minow stepped forward smiling.
"It's good to see you again, Mr. and Mrs. Potter." she stated. "I didn't know you were Natalia's grandparents!"
Okay.
Eliminate the 'I mentioned Minow's name theory'.
Minow definitely knew my grandparents.
Grandma and grandpa gave Minow a hug.
"Um, how exactly do you guys know each other?" I asked.
Grandma smiled at me.
"That's a story for another time," she said.
"Now. Let's get a snack, why don't we?" She asked.
"Alright," I agreed, still more confused than I would've liked to admit.
"Anyone willing to help me?" Grandma asked.
Everyone in the room raised their hands.
Grandma clapped her hands excitedly, causing me to winch in anticipation, until a moment passed, and nothing happened.
Grandpa raised his eyebrows at my reaction with a questioning gaze.
I shrugged at him, too tired to explain why I had reacted that way.
But, it turns out, I didn't have to.
"We figured out a way to control our time jumping even if we clap our hands together," grandpa said, reading my thoughts.
That seemed really nice to have that option.
"Do you think you could help me with that?" I asked hopefully.
Grandpa smiled.
"Of course,"
I sighed in relief, then looked for the others, but they had already gone into the kitchen.
My grandpa and I walked into the kitchen where the others were.
As we walked in, grandpa and grandma exchanged a strange glance.
I ignored it and turned and walked to a cupboard that had plates in it.
"Heads up!"
Grandpa called out.
Then, the strange feeling overcame me again.
I heard a faint whistling of an object flying through the air, as everything slowed down around me, or I sped up.
I wasn't too clear on that part.
I spun on my heels, and my hand shot out to catch a shuriken that was now inches from my face.
Time sped back to normal, and I stared at the ninja star that was currently in my hand.
"Great beard of Thor!" Minow exclaimed, clutching a spatula.
I turned to grandpa, who was smiling of all things.
"Dd you just throw a shuriken at me?" I asked incredulously.
"Yes I did, and may I just say, your reaction is everything I've dreamed of." He stated proudly.
Rose and I stared at each other, completely baffled by his response.
I wasn't angry per say, but I found it highly strange that he was proud and smiling after throwing a shuriken at me.
Speaking of shurikens, how did I know what it was called?
I'd never touched, seen, or heard of a shuriken before, yet for some reason I knew, one hundred percent, that that metal star was called a shuriken.
Grandma must've seen the creeped out look on my face, because she smacked the back of grandpa's head.
"Ow," he complained loudly.
"So sorry for your grandpa being creepy dear," she said. "it's just very relieving, and exciting for us to know that our blood heritage has been passed down, seeing as your mother never inherited the physical attributes of this gift."
You know that old saying, 'sink or swim'?
Well, I was definitely sinking to the bottom of the huge river of confusion, metaphorically speaking of course.
"Uggghh," I grumbled into my hands that were now covering my face.
"Why can't anything be simple?!"
Rose patted my shoulder with a smirk on her face.
"There ther-" she started, not able to finish because my hand had clamped onto hers to stop it from moving.
"Don't finish that sentence," I warned her, a smile fighting its way to my face.
Rose grinned back.
That cheeky little bugger.
She knew how much I hated it when people said that.
"Mrs, Potter," Minow said, addressing grandma.
"I think you need to start at the beginning. Explain the history to Natalia. Then she'll see that everything that has happened to her, happened for a reason."
So Minow knew what was going on?
Seriously, what is this world coming to?
I literally, was so confused right then, it wasn't even funny.
My brain was whirring a billion miles per second, trying out every possible combination of ideas out there.
Some were too difficult to explain, some were too outrageous to say, and some, well, I'm pretty sure that those ideas were NOT the answer.
The tea water started to boil, scaring everyone with the high pitched squeal it made.
Grandma quickly poured us all cups, and pulled out a platter of biscuits from seemingly nowhere.
"Let's go talk in the living room," she said.
I felt relieved.
Finally, it seemed I would get some real answers.
