"And if you have a minute, why don't we go.
Talk about it somewhere only we know?"

It didn't take long for the Griffin to drop Thorndash carefully onto the field where the telmarine army were waiting for orders. The challenge between Peter and Miraz was still happening which gave Lucy more time to find Aslan but they knew that they couldn't trust the word of Miraz as even if he lost, he would send his army to attack the Narnians.

Sprinting across the field, she stopped beside Edmund and caught her breath. He looked worried, there was a lot riding on this challenge and it was his brother in the midst of it all. His eyes were darting between his brother and the thousands of soldiers staring the fortress down.

"Where are Susan and Lucy?" He questioned as soon as he realised that Thorndash was beside him.

"We got stuck." She said, explaining further when she saw the worry etched on his face. "Susan's with Caspian and Lucy went ahead to find Aslan."

"She's on her own?"

"She'll be fine. We took down the telmarines that were after us."

He huffed and rolled his eyes. "Yes, because that really relaxes me."

"I'm the best fighter you've got, or do you forget the duel that we had?" She questioned, her eyebrow raised as Edmund turned to her with his finger poking her chest.

"We agreed never to talk about it."

"Did we?" She teased him, loving how easy it was to mess with the boy. "Or did you just sulk because you lost?"

Edmund didn't get a chance to argue back as they turned to see Caspian and Susan arriving back at the fortress. It hadn't taken them too long on horseback but Thorndash had gotten their faster, and she couldn't wait to tease them about it.

"Nice of you to finally join us." She smirked as Caspian glanced over to the challenge.

There had been a time-out called as Peter hobbled over to his family, wincing with every step he took. From the look of Miraz, the king was not doing as well as he had hoped either as he injured his leg.

"Lucy?" Peter asks worriedly as he takes a seat to rest but his mind is whirring with emotions.

Susan glanced upwards at Caspian and Thorndash. "She got through...with a little help."

"Thanks." Peter turned to Caspian, thanking him for helping them out.

"Well, you were busy." Caspian shrugged.

"Does no one actually believe that I had it handled?" Thorndash snapped, not happy that her friends didn't trust her and when they avoided her eyes, she huffed loudly. "Unbelievable."
