Katya took a deep breath as the Midrosen ship entered their port. She hadn't wished to come to the welcoming ceremony, still holding onto her hatred for the union, but her parents had insisted. Still, a part of her was excited to see the girl again, to see if the last five years had been kind to her.
She had not received a single letter since the young Princess left their port last, and no letters also meant no photographs. For some reason she had found herself growing increasingly upset about that, and on countless days she had spent hours looking through the photographs she had of her childhood friend, cursing herself for loosing the chance to see new ones.
"Smile Alexej, it's your first time seeing your fiance again after all." The Queen said, nudging Katya in the shoulder.
Katya wanted to make a sarcastic remark back, but she knew it would amount to nothing. They were of marriage age now, and the wedding would take place whether she liked it or not. There was nothing to be done, no more time to argue. Princess Beatrice and her father were coming for one reason and one reason only, and that was to finalize the merger of their Kingdoms.
The pretend Prince had to commend Trixie on how long she had managed to keep them apart though. Katya had expected the girl's father to insist on sending the Princess to Resvya every summer regardless of her feelings on the matter, but clearly she had managed to convince him otherwise. Perhaps Katya had underestimated the girl.
Suddenly a fanfare rang out and a line of guards exited the ship, forming two protective lines on each side of the boarding platform. King Erik was the first to arrive, earning massive applause from the crowds that had gathered. He waved and smiled at the crowds before heading over to greet Katya's parents.
"Prince Alexej, it is so wonderful to see you again. May your union be blessed." King Erik said after having greeted the King and Queen.
Katya felt her stomach churn at the mention of their union being blessed, knowing what he likely meant. It was what any happy alliance could wish for; an heir. Something Katya knew so very well that she would never be able to provide. But of course such matters were not to be discussed, so she kept her silence.
"It is a pleasure to see you too. I trust your health is good?" She said, avoiding the topic all together.
"Very well, thank you, my boy." He said, patting Katya's shoulder slightly before going back to talk with the girl's father again.
Another fanfare rang out and Katya didn't even need to look towards the ship to know who had come into view, the crowds reaction was enough to alert her. Oh, how loved the foreign princess was, Katya thought to herself. There was thunderous applause and hollers of support, one name being chanted from a crowd of thousands; Beatrice.
Katya looked towards the ship and felt the air get knocked out of her lungs, her heartbeat speeding up as her eyes widened. For what she saw was not the young girl she had known, but instead a beautiful woman who seemed like a Goddess sent to earth. Her proportions were unlike anything Katya had ever seen. Her breasts were perfectly round, pushed up by the corset hidden underneath her white dress, her waist slim and her hips wide. Her hair seemed to shine like gold in the sunlight. It hung in long loose ringlets, an uncommon hairstyle for Royalty. Most Noble women wore their hair up once they were of marriage age, but there was something so wonderfully attractive about the Princess wearing hers down. Somehow it seemed rebellious, and Katya couldn't help but smile at this. On top of Trixie's head was a golden crown with countless diamonds, a simple but attractive choice. She looked like the image of innocence by her dress and crown, but her physique and hair brought an air of seduction.
"Your Highness." The young Princess said as she curtsied in front of Katya.
The Resvyan Princess hadn't even noticed Trixie walking towards her until she was being greeted, and now when she was bowing in front of her, her breasts were right there, so tempting and large. Katya wished she could say she did not look, but her eyes still traveled, her tongue just barely coming out to wet her lips. Her heart was beating impossibly fast, a warmth and wetness appearing between her legs, and she knew she was in trouble.
"Princess Beatrice, I trust you are well?" She replied, trying her best to sound calm.
"Yes."
The short response made Katya certain that the Princess was still upset with her, and somehow she felt as if it was better that way. There was no doubt that she would easily pick Trixie out from a crowd since she was certainly the most beautiful woman Katya had seen, but she knew well that the Princess would never see her the same way, want her the same way, and even if she did their arrangement could never be a happy one. Still, something within her was softening up to the idea of holding the beauty in her arms, feel her lips against hers, and lay with her.
But this was all a masque, a simple charade, and at one point or another the truth would have to be revealed.
