They sat down in the tall grass, enjoying the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks beneath the cliffs. Somehow Katya had ended up with her head resting in the other's lap, and she was now enjoying the feeling of Trixie's fingers running through her hair in a calming fashion. She felt calmer than she had in a long time, the weight of her secret finally being lifted.

"I still can not believe that you did not run away. I thought I would loose you as soon as you knew the truth." Katya said.

"Truthfully, it just made all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place for me. For years I had so many unanswered questions, there were so many things that did not make sense to me, but when I learned the truth those questions were finally answered. And... I got my friend back, not to say I was not friends with Alexej or that I am not saddened by him being gone, I truly am, but you and I, we always had something special."

"That may have been because I always had a crush on you, even in those years when I tried to deny it." Katya said with a little laugh.

"Truthfully, I had a crush on you too back then." Trixie said, a light shade of pink coating her cheeks as she thought back to how she'd chase after the Resvyan girl as a child, how she'd try so hard to impress her.

"Just back then, huh? Guess all that talk of loving me now was just empty words." The blue-eyed girl said as she sat up straight, acting as if she was greatly upset by the statement.

"Just empty words? Is that what you think of me? Need I remind you that I am not the one of us who has been known to lie?"

"Oh, that is such a low blow." Katya said, even though she was quite impressed by the girl's teasing.

"Well, what are you going to do about it?" Trixie challenged.

"This." The Resvyan replied before pushing the girl down on the ground gently, hovering on top of her before she leaned in to kissed her.

It was a daring position, especially considering they were outside in broad daylight, but Katya did not care. She could finally kiss the girl she loved without playing a game of pretend, finally hold her close without worrying that she would notice the subtle curve of her bound breasts through the layers of loose fabric. Trixie flipped them over a moment, surprising the Resvyan. She placed sweet kisses on Katya's forehead, then her cheeks, then her jaw and then her neck, before returning up to her mouth again.

"You are so beautiful." Trixie said softly as she moved a couple strands of hair away from Katya's face. Her honey-brown eyes were shining with love and care, a gaze so free of judgement that the Resvyan girl nearly cried. "And your eyes, I am certain I will never get tired of looking into your eyes. Did you know that they have specks of gold in them?" The Princess added.

"Do you know that you are the loveliest woman in this world?" Katya said, leaning up to peck the girl.

"I did actually. Honestly, how can anyone handle looking at such perfection as me? How does your heart survive?" Trixie jokingly replied, making the other girl laugh.

"I see you are not the humble and charming Princess I thought you were."

"Well, you are not the Prince Charming I thought you were either." The Princess teased.

"Are you ever going to let that go?" Katya asked, even though she greatly enjoyed joking about the situation.

"That depends, what will you give me to let it go?"

There was a flirtatious undertone to the question and so Katya took advantage of the moment, flipping them over in the grass once again and placing her leg between Trixie's. She leaned in closer, slightly pushing her thigh against the girl beneath her, loving the way Trixie's body reacted to her immediately, a soft moan of pleasure and surprise escaping her lips.

"I will give you a night you will never forget." Katya whispered in her ear, her voice deeper than usual, before she kissed and sucked on the skin on her neck. "Of course, you will have to wait until our wedding night." She added as she pulled away entirely.

"Oh, you are a cruel one." Trixie responded in pure disbelief. "Speaking of our wedding, I have a question."

"Alright, what is it?" Katya asked, suddenly feeling nerves fill her once again.

"Last night you asked me to kiss you not because we were betrothed, and not because i felt obligated to, but simply because I wished for you to kiss me. Well, now I ask you the same. Will you marry me? Not because of the arrangement our parents made, not because you feel you must, but simply because you love me and wish for us to be together?"

Katya felt her heart swell, never having imagined such a moment would come, never even daring to hope that Trixie would ever say those words. Tears were filling her eyes once more as she nodded.

"Yes, I will marry you. Of course, I will marry you, my dearest Trixie." She finally replied, pulling Trixie into a tight hug, leaning her head on her love's shoulder as she cried tears of happiness.
