Chapter 19

*(Y/N)'s POV*

It has been a week rehearsing for the event with the members of Afterglow. There aren't that many days left before the event, but thanks to the members of Afterglow, things have been going smoothly.

Unfortunately, there were some moments where I saw my father, whereas I was struggling to breathe. Thanks to, Ran though, she helped calm me down simply by hugging me. With every hug, the fewer panic attacks I have been receiving throughout every session. Was it really because of her that made the difference?

We were just finishing up practice for the day until I heard the door open and it reveals our little energetic orange-haired friend.

(Hagumi): Hey, (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Hagumi, what brings you here?

(Hagumi): I heard that you were practicing for an event, so I came to bring you some croquettes.

(Y/N): Oh, thanks, Hagumi. I'll be sure to eat to them.

(Hagumi): You're welcome. I see that you've been practicing with, Ran-Ran and the others.

(Y/N): Yeah, they're a huge help to get me prepared for it. So far we're making great progress.

(Hagumi): That's great news!

(Y/N): Though, I'm still not sure on what to sing yet.

(Hagumi): Don't worry, I know you will sing a great song.

(Y/N): Thanks, Hagumi.

(Hagumi): Well, I should get going. Good luck, (Y/N), and take care of, Ran-Ran!

(Y/N): Huh? Umm, yeah, see you later.

Take care of her? She's been the one taking care of me this past week, and we're not even dating. I looked at, Ran for a moment and she seems to be facing away from me.

(Y/N): You ok, Ran?

(Ran): *blushes* I-I'm fine, don't worry about me.

The sentence really got her that embarrassed huh? With how, Ran is reacting, it's even making me blush a little.

(Tomoe): How are you feeling, (Y/N)? Did your father show up again?

(Y/N): Thankfully, not this time around. I haven't seen him at all today.

(Himari): That's great to hear! It means Ran is doing a great job helping with your trauma.

(Moca): Isn't that great, Ran~?

(Ran): *blushes* A-A-all I'm doing is hugging him.

(Tsugumi): Still, it's a huge change! That's great progress!

I won't deny that, Ran has been a big help in calming me down with my trauma. I wonder if she really is the difference.

(Ran): You ok, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Hmm? Oh, yeah I'm fine. Let's call that it for today. We should go to Tsugumi's abode, plus I have all these croquettes to eat.

(Tomoe): You sure love her croquettes.

(Y/N): Well, we all have our favorite foods, just like you have your ramen and Moca has her bread.

(Tomoe): Touché.

(Moca): Bread is the god of this world~.

(Y/N): Fufu, right. Anyway, let's get going.

*Later at Hazawa Coffee*

The girls and I were all chatting while we're eating some slices of cake that, Tsugumi made and some of the croquettes that I got from, Hagumi. Man, I can't get enough of these.
