My Regrets (Ran Mitake x Male Reader)

Chapter 12

*Y/N's POV*

After hanging out with Ran, Taiko, and Shizuka at Hazawa Coffee, a week went by. For the past several days, the girl bands, Marina and I were preparing for the concert. All of the girl bands, including Afterglow, came to CiRCLE for practice whenever they had the chance. While Marina and I set up the necessary equipment for the upcoming event. I told Taiko and Shizuka about this and of course, they'll definitely be attending to watch the event. 

Those past several days were exhausting, but thankfully we managed to get it all prepared before the deadline. I'd make sure to get some rest before the day of the event as well. Hopefully, everyone else was well prepared and rested, because the day has finally arrived.

I was on my way to CiRCLE alone this time, Ran went to meet up with the rest of her band to get ready, so it was pretty much a quiet walk. I wanted to walk with her, but what can you do on a day like today. Good thing we're both well and rested, cause today is gonna be a long day.

*Thirty Minutes Later*

I finally made it to CiRCLE, and on the counter where I was greeted by Marina.

(Marina): Hey, (Y/N). Are you ready for the event?

(Y/N): Ready as I'll ever be. 

(Marina): Great! We still got another hour before the audience will start showing up, so all the girls should be coming over soon.

(Y/N): Alright, is there anything else that we need to do before it starts?

(Marina): No, we pretty much got it all set up since yesterday. What I do need you to do though, during the event is you'll be helping me out backstage and telling the girls who are going out next when one of their songs is finished. Here, I'll give you a list.

(Y/N): Thanks. Hopefully, nothing goes wrong during the event.

(Marina): Don't worry (Y/N), it'll be fine.

(Y/N): I hope so.

(Marina): You worry too much.

*An Hour Later*

It's been an hour now and all of the band girls are here, and the audience has shown up. Live house CiRCLE is packed with people now. 

(Y/N): At least I'm not part of the crowd or I would get lost. Good thing I'm working backstage.

I check the list to see who's going first and the band was going to be Raise A Suilen. I went over to the waiting room to inform them.

(Y/N): Raise A Suilen, you're up first to the stage.

(Chiyu): Alright, let's go girls!

(Reona): Yes, Chu²-sama!

They walked out to the stage with confident looks on their faces. Now that I think about it, this will be the first time I'll be hearing all of the other bands' types of music. This will be interesting. 

They're now on stage into their positioned roles. Rei took the mic, informing the audience that they were about to start their song.

(Rei): Thank you all for coming to the event. We are Raise A Suilen, and the song we're gonna be singing for you all today is Expose 'Burn Out!!!'
