Chapter 26

*(Y/N)'s POV*

After the event finished, everyone in the room offered to lend a hand in cleaning up and putting away all the pieces of equipment. While we were cleaning up, we heard a lot of footsteps coming our way and saw that all the other girl bands were there and offered to help out as well. Marina was more than happy to accept. It didn't take us long to clean up everything in the store, and we pretty much finished in record time.

Marina was very grateful for our help and told all of us that we should be heading home now. As we were all leaving CiRCLE, Yukina called out to me.

(Yukina): (Y/N), may I talk to you for a minute?

(Y/N): Huh? Umm, sure?

(Ran): ...

Yukina started walking to the lounge room and I followed suit. Once we made it to the lounge room, she opened the door and offered me to go in first. I went inside and looked toward, Yukina as she closed the door behind her.

(Y/N): So, what did you want to talk about?

(Yukina): Before we get to that, I would like to say congratulations on your performance on stage. You did really well.

(Y/N): Really, thanks. Compared to your band, I don't think it's as good, but hearing that from you is kind of reassuring.

(Yukina): Although, that first solo performance of yours, did catch me off guard.

(Y/N): Honestly, I wasn't a little hesitant to sing that song on stage, since I wanted to try something different. But I realized it didn't matter as long as I just enjoy it to the fullest.

(Yukina): I see, that's good to hear. Now for that last song at the event. When I heard you sing that song, it made me wonder. Who were you singing it for?

(Y/N): Why do you ask? I thought it would be obvious to you. I did say it's to the person who I hold special to me.

(Yukina): Please answer the question.

(Y/N): ...It was for, Ran.

(Yukina): I see. May I ask why she's so special to you?

As I was about to answer her question, I noticed that the door was slightly open. I thought Yukina closed the door? I saw something between the gaps and I noticed a necklace. I immediately knew who was behind the door but didn't say as I just went ahead and answered Yukina's question.

(Y/N): She cares about me, even though sometimes she doesn't show it. How she reacts sometimes always puts a smile on my face that I can't help but tease her a little. Plus, she was always there for me when I needed it most. I can't thank her enough for that.

(Yukina): Alright then. One last question, what if someone else tries to take her?

(Y/N): That will not happen. Besides...

I walked up to the door and opened it, revealing a surprised, Ran. I pulled her towards me and cuddled her up as I answered Yukina's question.

(Y/N): She's already mine.

Yukina was silent for a moment until she suddenly smiled and said.

(Yukina): I see, thank you. That's all I needed to know.
