---Isabel’s POV----

I pulled out the last load of whites from the washing machine and plopped them into the basket. I grabbed the pile of red clothes and put it in the once empty washing machine. I’m sure that Tanisha won’t be happy to hear that the blue berry stain would not come out of her favourite white dress.

It was very quiet in the laundry room. It always was. Not because it was empty but because no one ever spoke unless they had to. The only sound that could be heard was the combined sound of all the washing machines humming together and the sound of feet slapping against tiles when people were waiting for their load to be over or to put clothes in and out of the washing machines.

Then a new sound entered the room. The sound of two door’s squeaking open. Thinking that it was another slave coming to start their shift, I just continued with my work and folded the clothes that sat on my table.

“Time for a check-up.” I voice echoed through the room. I stopped. My heart fluttered in beat with the butterflies in my tummy. I could tell just by his voice that it was Louis. To be honest I always had a crush on him. He was one of the first people here to talk to me, I know that that doesn’t mean anything, or that he liked me but I couldn’t help how I felt about him.

I heard him walking around the room, he was getting closer and closer to me, my heart beat quickened and I was still frozen in place. I heard him write something down on his clip board. Finally I heard him make his way over towards me and I finally unfroze and continued folding clothes.

“Hey, Isabel. “He put is head over my shoulder. He wasn’t that much taller than me but he was tall enough so that if I looked into his bright blue eyes I’d have to tilt my head up.

“Watcha doin?” He asked in an adorable way that made me blush.

“My job.” I said blankly. I kept my head down so that he wouldn’t see me blushing.

“You okay?” He asked, moving his head closer to mine so that he could almost see my face. I bit my lip so that I wouldn’t burst out giggling at how adorable and cute he was. I slowly nodded my head, trying to hide the smile spreading across his face.

“You sure?” He pressed. He rested his hand on my waist. ‘OMG this is not happening right now’ was all that I could think about.

“Yes, I’m sure” I looked him in the eyes and I instantly regretted it. His blue eyes met mine and my heart stopped. His hair was messy but in a stylish way, he was wearing a handsome smirk and he had a little stubble, but that only made him look hotter.

“So I was wondering if you would like to do something tonight?” He asked smiling, hope in his electric blue eyes. I frowned remembering I have another early shift tomorrow.

“Oh, no, sorry. I have another early shift in the morning tomorrow, sorry, Louis.” I looked away back at the clothes that were on my table. I could have sworn for a second that I saw sadness in his eyes but I think it was just in my mind. I mean he was probably just asking me as a friend anyway.

“Oh, well then I guess I’ll see you tomorrow morning instead then?” He asked smiling again.

“I guess.” I shrugged my shoulders and smiled but I kept my eyes firm on the clothes.

“Okay see you then.” My tummy did summersaults as he left. I can’t wait to tell Erin what just happened.

Harry’s POV

I wait for Louis to come back to find out what she said. It didn’t take long until he came back to the room.

“Well?” I asked.

“She said no, but she said that I could see her tomorrow when she’s working her early morning shift.” He said cheerfully. He shouldn’t be too cheerful about all of this, he should remember why we’re doing this in the firs place.

“Okay, well I’m going to ask Erin.” I say as I walk to the exit.

“Do you think she’ll say yes?” I ask before leaving. He raised his eyebrow and I quickly left the room remembering what I just thought. As I got closer and closer to the kitchen I couldn’t help but notice my heart rate quickened. It didn’t take long for me to realise that I was nervous, but before I could back out of it I was already in the kitchen and Erin had already spotted me. She flashed me a smile and went back to peeling potatoes for everyone’s dinner tonight. There must have been over a thousand potatoes there and she was doing it all by herself.

“Hey Erin.” My voice was a bit higher than usual and I quickly cleared my throat to try and cover it up. She giggled at me and my cheeks blushed. I moved to her other side and picked up a peeler and a potato.

“So, um, anyway.” I said stepping closer to her. I started peeling the potato in my hand, helping her.

“Yeah.” She said sweetly. Turning her focus back to the half peeled potato in her hand. I was surprised that she’s being so nice to me after I couldn’t get her out of her triple shift today. It was sill morning so she’s probably not tired yet, or sore from peeling all these potatoes.

“Um, I was thinking if you would want to go out tonight?”
