----------Erin's POV------

I looked at my new uniform. It was nothing like my others. It was less revealing and could actually kind of classify as a uniform. It was bright pink, had short sleeves and hugged my figure. Niall told me yesterday when he dropped it off that I was allowed to wear jackets and jewellery with it unlike all the other uniforms I had or seen.

"You are so lucky. I have to fold other people's clothes and you get to put a book away." Isabel crossed her arms and jokingly glared at me.

"And I get to wear a jacket." I threw a black leather jacket over my shoulder. It wasn't too cold now but later on I knew it would get colder. I started making my way to the door.

"Okay I got to go now or I'll be late, see you later." I say as I step into the hallway and out of the comfort of my bedroom.

"See ya then." Was all I heard as I closed the bedroom door.

I started the familiar journey to the library. I use to always get lost when I got here but I quickly adapted. I still don't know my way in and around but I know where to go to the places I normally go. I would explore more but I'm afraid I would get lost, plus the library right ahead so there's no point now.

I opened the library doors. The first thing I noticed was how much colder it was. It wasn't too cold but it was enough to make me put on my jacket. The second thing I notice is its splash of colour yet sophistication. It had bright greens and blues decorating the walls and tables, but it also had an aura of high class, probably because of the amount of money spent on it and how big the room was.

As I started making my way to the desk I looked over at the different sections of books. There was old and classics, fiction and non-fictional and new books that the other library keeper would order. A lot of people borrow books in their spare time so we probably need to keep on ordering new ones so that nobody gets bored. There were some lounges laying around the big room that were used up from people who don't have their own rooms.

I made my way behind the desk and saw were people have dropped off their books they no longer wanted. I use to help out at my school's library as a kid so I already knew what to do. I grabbed the scanning thing that I am yet to learn the name of and started scanning the barcode on the books. After scanning the barcodes I would put the books into one pile ready to return to the shelves. I kept on doing this until one book caught my eyes. It had 'Life In Outer space' written across it and something about it just really made me want to read it. Instead of putting the book in the pile with the others I put the book behind the desk were nobody could see it.

"Stealing books I see." The voice made me jump and I spun around to see who it was.

"Harry, you scared me to death." I scolded him. I turn my back to him and continued scanning the books.

"You know you could get into big trouble if you get caught stealing." He walked behind the desk and stood behind me, he leant his chest onto my back. I froze but I quickly recovered and continued working.

"The only way I can get caught if some idiot keeps on shouting it out to the world." I hissed.

"Fine. I'll stop talking about it. So do you like your new job, it took me forever to convince Niall to make Liam change his mind. That's why it took so long." He said. What he said kind of shocked me a little. I mean he did all this. I turned around so that my front was pressed against Harry's front and no longer my back.

"You did this?" I ask him. He gave me a warm smile and nodded his head he rested his hands on my waste and moved his thumbs up and down, caressing my figure.

"Thank you." I say and genially mean it. I still don't know what Harry's intentions are, but this was a really nice thing to do.

"Don't mention it." He smiled. It took me a second to realise how me and Harry were standing so I quickly turned around and grabbed the pile of books. I walked out from behind the counter and away from Harry. I then started putting the books in my hand away.

I still need to read those pieces of paper. I didn't get a chance to yesterday Isabel was in the room with me so I couldn't just read it them in front of her.

"Want some help?" Harry asked me walking up behind me again.

"No, I don't think your brain has the capacity to understand the numbers on the book, showing you where to put them." I say bluntly, not even bothering to turn around to look at him. I hear Harry gasp at what I just said and I couldn't hold back my smile even if I tried.

"I'll let you know that I am very intellectual." I turned around and saw Harry smiling at the fact that he used a big word.

"You used a big word, clap clap for you Harry." I smiled sarcastically and Harry's smirk disappeared from his face.

"You're just jealous." He smiled at me again.

"The correct term is envious. When you're jealous you are mad at the idea of someone taking away something you have, if you are envious you are mad because someone has something you don't and I don't think you can take away my genius so I think that you meant to say envious." I smiled up at him and watched the smirk on his face disappear but then be replaced by a cheeky smile.

Before I knew it the books that were in my hand had been slapped out of my hand and Harry's body was pressed against mine, pinning me up against the shelf behind me. I quickly checked to see if there was anybody around and luckily for me, there wasn't.

"You're very smart." Harry said twirling a piece of my blonde hair around his fingers.

"But I am also very smart, and I'm sure I could teach you a thing or two." He smiled and dropped the piece of hair and looked me in my eyes. His normally bright green eyes were darker than usual and he had a smirk on his face. I know with everything going on I should not be flirting with him but it's been a while since I've flirted with a guy... as good looking as Harry. Plus I can't let Harry know that I know what's going on around here.

"I'm always open to learning new things." I smirk up at him and he smirks back down onto me. I wriggle out of his grip and bend over in front of him and pick up all my books. I could feel Harry staring at me but that didn't faze me. I stood back up and spun around to meet his smouldering gaze.

"You should go, I need to work and I don't need you around distracting me." I smile at him. I watch his smile fade and the lust leave his eyes. I smile at him again reassuringly. He doesn't say anything as he leaves the library and neither do I. But for real, I probably should get back to work.
