Colonial America - 16242 years... it's been 2 years sense we were attacked by the natives. I sighed, remembering all that had happened that day. It was... something, alright. Something I never wanted to experience again. I was sitting by a desk. I didn't really know what to do. I had plans to head out, and get some supplies but I checked and there was nothing there. I sighed.
Then Virginia came in with a letter.
"Dad! There's a letter for you!" He told me as he handed the letter to me.
I looked at the letter and as soon as I saw it had a Royal seal, I quickly tore it open and unfolded the paper. It was from my father as I expected. As I read, I found that he wanted me to come over to England. He said he had important business to address with me. This was the perfect opportunity for Virginia to meet his grandfather, something he has been wanting to do for a very long time now."Well," Virginia started, getting impatient from suspense, "what's it say, who's it from?!"
"It's from you grandfather, Great Britain. He says he wants me to meet with him in England. I'd be willing to bring you along to meet him if you'd like?" I told Virginia.
Virginia's smile widened, "You know I would!"He then ran into his room, probably to start packing for the trip. I sighed, this would be the first time in years I'd be getting to see my father again. I wonder how he's been? I remember first getting here, I thought I'd never get used to being so far away from home, but here I am now. A new place to call home, along with a new family. Come to think of it, I don't think my father even knows about Virginia! It's been too long...

Virginia - A few days later
We just reached England. I could feel the excitement rising up in me. I've never met my grandfather, but father speaks highly of him! I wonder what he's like? I bet he's super nice! My father patted my shoulder.
He looked down at me and asked, "You ready?"
I nodded in reply and got ready to leave.I made sure to stay close to my father as we got off the boat and into the giant city. It was amazing, there were so many people and the city itself was beautiful. I shivered a bit, it was a lot colder there than it was back home. I looked up at father, who smiled back in return. We walked for what seemed like miles, soon father stopped at a HUGE building.
"Where here." Father said.
"Woah, grandfather lives here? It's bigger than the entirety of Jamestown!" I commented.
Father chuckled a bit at what I had said, "Yes, I suppose it is." He then knocked on the door and was greeted by a strangely dressed guard. The guard looked my father and me up and down before allowing us in. The guard eyed me suspiciously, but that was probably because I've never be here before. We walk through hallway after hallway before finally reaching a giant pair of doors. My father pushed the doors open, giving me a view of the huge room. It had a red carpet that stretched throughout the room from the door to the far end of the room. At the very end there were stairs that lead up to one giant throne.
There was a man sitting on it. He had a Union Jack on his face, and wore a red cape with a fur trim edged around it. A crown rested upon his head.
Standing next to the throne was a man who wore a purple coat with the a white cravat. He had black breeches with white stockings, and a white powdered hair with brown eyes. He looked to be about 26 years old.
There were 2 other armed guards next to them, wearing the same funny outfit as the first. The men showed no emotion, and they looked as if they were staring off into space. The man on the throne straightened up a bit as he saw us walk in.
"Ah, my son! Welcome home!" The man with the crown said.
"Hello father." My dad replied. I assumed that the man he was talking to was my grandfather, Great Britain.
"Who, might I ask, is this that you have brought with you?" Great Britain asked, look at me curiously.
"This, father, is my son, Virginia." My father replied. I waved my hand.
"Ah, so this is my new colony..." Grandfather said. I wasn't really all to much of a fan of him calling me 'his colony', it made it sound like he was my father and not America."Tell me Colonial America, why have you not told me of this child?" Grandfather asked, the way he asked frankly freaked me out a bit. Why was my grandfather such a creep?! Is he really my fathers father?
"Well, I haven't had much opportunity to send messages to you, much less have I gotten many from you..." My father replied, mumbling the last part.
"Well, never mind that," Britain said, pushing what father had said aside, "let's get down to business, why don't we?"
