Game of Jealousy

You're POV :

A sigh left my mouth as I entered Uni . 15 days but no sign of Kim Taehyung .

As I was walking through the corridor on my way to my classroom , a boy from our class approached me . Choi Jaesoon. He was the one who gave me Taehyung's address when he suddenly collapsed during our first assignment. We've talked a couple of times in last few days due to some project . And I found him as a nice guy. I was planning to make him my friend seeing his personality.

" H-hi , Y/N . Have some time ?" He waved .

" Sure . " I replied shortly.

" Um... I-I wanna show you something. " He said rubbing his nape .

" What is it ? " I asked .

" Um .. not here . Will you follow me please ?" He asked kinda nervous.

" Okay.But what's the matter anyways ? " I asked a bit curious as it's not common for boys to just approach me & ask me to follow them . Specially because , though Taehyung isn't around , Jimin is . Despite of being busy with his girlfriend , he never forgets to check on me & send death glare to the boys who tries to approach me , whenever he's around me.

" You'll see . " He said standing in front of the dance practice room . Then he opened the door & asked me to enter first. I was a bit hesitant due to the class being empty & dark but as he steadily went towards the light switches , I stepped in . He turned on the lights then came towards me and said , " um...I wanted to g-give you t-this . "

Saying so he handed me a piece of paper .
I opened it & there was a small note saying ,

Dear Y/N ,
From the day I saw your beautiful moon like face , I fel in love with you. I've been trying to say these words to you but couldn't find the courage. Today, on my Birthday I want to finally confess my feelings for you .

I finished reading & looked up from the note only to find Jaesoon on his knees with a typical bouquet of red roses .

" I L-Love You , M-Min Y/N . " As soon as the words leave his mouth , he was thrown way on the ground with a harsh push & a growl echoed through the dance room .

" HOW DARE YOU , BASTARD ! " Growled a deep voice going straight towards Jaesoon & landing a punch directly on his face . Then another one , then another ...

The whole scene happened so quickly that I couldn't even process everything properly. But as soon as I got what's happening , I ran towards them & pushed the mad Taehyung away from the now bleeding birthday boy .

" Leave me ! "

"Stay away from him , Y/N . "

" Let me handle him , argh . "

Taehyung said each line trying to reach for Jaesoon pushing me from in front of him . But each time got a hard push from me resulting him to go a step back .

" Argh ! " A moan left Jaesoon's mouth as he tried to stand up which made Taehyung more aggressive.

" Taehyung, calm down. Please. " I said putting my hand on his chest more firmly.

" What's going on here ? " Jimin's voice echoed through the room followed by Yeri's . " Oh my , Jaesoon ! He's bleeding . "

" Jimin , Yeri , please take Jaesoon to the docot's room . " I said still holding on to Taehyung who's staring at Jaesoon with blood shot eyes.

A bunch of people already gathering around the scene . Jimin took Jaesoon out followed by yeri who gave me a thumbs up before disappearing in the crowd .

I looked at Taehyung who was a bit calm now . " Kaja . " I said dragging him out of there .

We reached the back yard of the university & I made him sat on the bench. I took out my water bottle holding his hand & washing the blood from his knuckles. I stayed silent the whole time giving him time to calm down .

" You ok ? " I asked slowly. In return he let out a sigh & nodded looking the other way .

Again Silence .

It's the first time I'm feeling awkward with Taehyung. But I don't want to break the silence this time knowing he needs some time . Now that I finally looked at him properly , I figured out , he has eye bags & his skin looked a bit tanned .

After sitting there for a while Taehyung suddenly said , " What were you reading before he proposed you ? "

" This . " I said handing him the piece of paper which I kept in my pocket.

He read it & crunched it in his fist before throwing it away.

" Bastard. "He muttered under his breath which I clearly heard .

" Don't blame him . It's not his fault. " I said monotonously. Taehyung gave me an unbelievable look & said ,

" What do you mean it's not his fault ? How can he propose you just like that ? " He yelled out .

" First , don't rise your voice here . Second , there's nothing wrong in falling for someone or confessing your true feelings. It's not like I'm taken or something . He or anyone can propose me & - "

" No . He can't ." He yelled cutting me off. I sighed.

" Why ? "

" Because , you're ... you are ... " He trailed off . His voice getting low with each word .

" I am ? " I asked back . For some reason I was surprisingly calm .

He hesitated a bit then said , " Nothing." With that he stood up & was going to walk away but I stopped him holding his hand .

" Where were you these last 14 days ? " I know it's not the right time to ask as he's clearly angry but my curiosity took over .
He stared at me for a few seconds before releasing his hand from my grasp .

" With my girlfriend . Got any problem ? " He asked rising one eyebrow.

" Nope . Congrats to you & Chae Yeon . " With that I walked out leaving that Tata Kim behind.
