Y/N POV
It's been two months since the war ended. My belly is huge and it's hard to walk and I still have 3 months before they are due. Atem and the twins birthday is in two months. The twins have grown so much. They are already starting to walk and have small words. The nanny is excited for the Quadruplets. Yesterday Atem and I came up with names finally. The names are, Akhenamkhanen, Yugi, jasmine and, melody. When we told our friends, Yugi was excited to have a child named after him. He also announced that Tea just found out she's pregnant.

I'm in the Throne room with Atem while he's holding court. A man was arrested for killing a child and he's on trial. It's been going on for several days. I just came to show support for my husband. As the closing arguments are being made I notice a sharp pain in my stomach. Atem notices as well. "Are you alright?" He asks quietly. "Yeah I'm fine" I say.

We find the man guilty and we go to stand. As soon as I stand up I double over in pain. "Y/N!" Atem yells and catches me. Then I feel a familiar sensation but that's way to early. I look at Atem. "Get me to our room, my water just broke" I say as calmly as I can. Atem freaks out and lifts me up and carry's me to our room. "It's too early" I hear him repeat over and over as he runs to our room. We arrive and he sets me on the bed. "I'll be back, I'm going to get the doctor." He says. "Ok" I say. I'm not in a lot of pain and I'm hoping that doesn't change.

Atem POV
Its too early, this is not good at all. I quickly get the doctor. "Doctor, y/n's water broke" I say as soon as I see him. "Oh boy" he says and grabs his bag. He runs with me to our room. Y/n looks scared but not in a lot of pain. The doctor also has his ultrasound equipment with him. He puts monitors on y/n's stomach and does an ultrasound. "Oh dear. The babies are in distress. We need to do an emergency c-section." He says. "What!" Y/n yells. "We have to take her to the hospital now so I can operate. You can still be in the room with her" the doctor says. Luckily we have an ambulance at the palace for us just in case something like this happens. The doctor loads her up and I tell the nanny to keeps the twins safe.

It takes us 5 minutes to get to the hospital and y/n is rushed into the operating room. I'm lead in after I get scrubbed up and everything. It only took them 10 minutes to prep y/n. I'm by her side. We can't see anything due to the cloth over her shoulders. "I'm scared" y/n says. "I'm right here my love" I say and kiss her forehead. She nods and we hear the scream of our first baby. "Baby A is a boy." The doctor says. They take him to the NICU as they pull out baby B. "Baby B is a boy" the doctor says. They take him as well. "Baby C is a girl" the doctor says handing her to a nurse. "And baby D is a girl" the doctor says. He also said the times they were born. All two minutes apart from each other. In total 8 minutes to get all of them out. All 4 are now in the NICU since they were 3 months early. The doctor sews up y/n who feels better but still worried.

Y/n goes into the recovery room and she asks me to go see the babies so she can rest. I go and they are so tiny. Each of them only weighed in at 2 pounds each. The doctor told me that with multiples it's common for them to be early, we were just lucky our twins didn't. He said he had a feeling the quadruplets would be early just not this early. I can't even hold my children for they are very fragile. The doctor says that they will probably be in the NICU for a few months since they were so early. I've already filled out the birth certificates with the names me and y/n picked. Luckily I am able to gently touch my kids. They are way smaller than my hand. After I spend an hour with the babies I go to check on y/n. She's asleep. I kiss her forehead.

Y/n wakes up and smiles. "How are they?" She asks. "They are beautiful, but very tiny." I say. I pull out my pho and show her photos of them and how small they were. "It's too bad they came so early." Y/n says. "Don't worry, the doctor said that they have an over 80% chance of survival." I say. She nods. "I looked it up once, I had a feeling our babies would be early. I just thought it would be next month around Christmas time." She says. "But I also knew either way they would be in the NICU" she added.

The next day y/n was able to go see the Quadruplets. We still couldn't hold them but they looked so helpless. All of them had feeding tubes in and they were hooked up to a bunch of other machines to keep them alive. They can't regulate there body temperature yet so they are in incubators. We asked the nurses if we could bring them something to cuddle and they said yes. Y/n won't get out of the hospital for a couple more days so I went to the store real quick and bought 4 tiny stuffed animals. A Monkey, a panda, a puppy and, a kitten. The NICU nurses said I could give them the toys. I gave Akhenamkhanen the puppy, Yugi the panda, jasmine the monkey and melody the kitten. The toys were the same size as my children. I went to see y/n and she was very sad about the babies being in the NICU. I got her some food from outside the hospital because I know hospital food isn't always good. Yet again being pharaoh I could help change that. I'll look into that another day.

Y/n spent 2 more days in the hospital before she was aloud to go home. After she was discharged, we went to see the quadruplets. Luckily we were aloud to hold them now that they gained a little weight. I held our girls while y/n held the boys. We were very happy but we knew this was going to be a long several months in the hospital.
