I apologise deeply- 😃
Eddie woke up early that morning, it was his Birthday. He was excited to see his friends and Richie, especially since he knew about the 'surprise' party. Unfortunately, Eddie had forgotten about the fact Sonia had grounded him after he got hurt by Bowers.
knock, knock
Sonia came into Eddie's room with a tray of toast and cereal, she placed it down next to Eddie's bed. Eddie looked at the tray, spotting a glass of water and white pills laid out beside it. He took a piece of toast, biting a small bit off and chewing it slowly as his mother opened the blinds on his window. Eddie swallowed, getting the courage to ask his mum if he could see his friends.
"Mummy, can I go see my friends since it's my birthday?" Eddie asked, looking up at Sonia
Sonia looked at Eddie, a look of concern on her face but it softened.
"You have to promise to stay safe Edward, I don't want you getting hurt!"
Eddie got annoyed, he groaned in announce raising his voice,"I'm 18 mum!" Eddie shouted, feeling pale as Sonia glared at him.
"Fine! But you better stay away from that Tozier boy", she grimaced saying his name as she handed Eddie the water and pills.
Eddie placed the pills in his mouth, chugging the water, smacking it down on the desk.
"Why? He's not a bad person mummy!"
"I heard he turned a boy gay Edwards, I don't want the same thing happening to you. Do you want to get sick too?" She asked, tidying away the glass.
Eddie felt anger boil inside of him, HE was the boy Richie had made REALISE he was gay. Eddie was the boy Richie loved, why couldn't his mum understand that.
"I'm the boy! I'm gay, Richie's my boyfriend!" Eddie shouted, feeling hot tears fall down his face as his face turned redder and redder.
Sonia gasped, dropping the tray and looking at her son.
"You don't know what you're talking about! You're not gay, you're confused. I know somewhere that can help you, till then I don't want you seeing your friends or that Tozier boy".
Sonia yelled, locking Eddie's Window then taking the phone from beside him and dropping it into her dressing gown pocket.
"No! Please!" Eddie shouted, tears falling from his face
Sonia left Eddie there, locking the door as he sat there crying. He wished Richie was there, but he wasn't, and now Eddie couldn't escape, he was trapped.
Meanwhile, the losers had been organising Eddie's Party. They were putting up decorations as Richie went on to rant about how everything had to be perfect for his Eddie-Spaghetti. Stan, Bill and Ben rolled their eyes whilst Bev laughed at Richie's love for Eddie.
"Hey Rich, have you messages Eddie?" She asked,
Richie wore a worried look, looking up from his phone.
"I sent him a message 5 hours ago, he hasn't even seen it".
The other losers looked at Richie with a concerned look, Bev tried to reassure them. Telling them Eddie was probably spending time with his mum since it was his birthday.
"Eddie's mums crazy, why would he spend time with her!?" Richie shouted, waving his arms about.
"Rich, calm down. I'm sure it's fine".
