And the saga continues

I know you are all probably sick of hearing about my car, so feel free to not read this. I just need to get it out of my head.

So, I picked my car up Friday (12/10/21) since I've gotten it back I'm just finding issue after issue with it. I swear if the thing hadn't been totally dead and unable to start and move I'd never believe they fixed anything.

1) the engine mount is now bad and the car vibrates like it's going to fall apart any second. It's so loud the radio needs to be at like 30 to be heard (I used to keep the volume at like 10 or 12 if that tells you anything) They claim (despite the fact it is called a 'motor mount') it has zero to do with the new engine and if I want it replaced it will cost $300 (how nice of them to not charge me the labor for replacing it, it will save me like $60! :| ) Here's the thing, they had to disconnect the old engine from the mount to pull it, therefore it has to do with the engine.

2) for some reason my gas cap is missing

3) all the little plastic access panels in the rear cargo area of the vehicle were off and just floating around the cargo area

4) my favorite: they reversed the button for the cruise control so to set it you hit resume and to turn it off you hit set

5) one of the oil sensors on the brand new engine is bad (though they have said they will replace that free of charge because it is part of what they have replaced)

I'm so angry about this entire ordeal, they had the car for six months! They couldn't manage to not fix it half-assed in that time? Not only did they somehow lose my gas cap, which never should have been touched in the first place, the car sounds awful. This morning I called the corporate customer service line. The rep was super nice and she took lots of notes about everything. She said she has to contact the dealer before she can say whether anything can be done, which is unfortunate because I have to drive up tomorrow to pick my daughter up from school (roughly 800 miles) and I need to drive through a lot of rural areas where there is zero phone service. I'm scared to drive my car now, which I've never been before. I am the original owner of the car, I bought it brand new off the lot. I know how the car sounds and how it drives and it's not right. I hope they will do something to fix it.

Fingers crossed and lots of praying.
