Responsibility

No one has any sense of responsibility anymore. They vanish without an explication. They don't complete work by deadlines and then make lame excuses as to why they couldn't do the work.

The saddest part of it all is that it's a pattern that I see not just here on Wattpad but in every day living. What's worse, is no one reprimands these people when they behave badly because companies now don't want to get into a battle with entitled whiners who's immediate reaction to shit it, "OMG why are you being so mean to me and attacking me in this way! I'm going to sue you!"

I spent several years working receiving at a department store. There was four of us in the department (the supervisor and the three employees). Three of us hauled ass and got shit done. The fourth guy put in the effort but he couldn't read English well and he made a lot of mistakes. He spoke English fluently, but reading it was a different story. He would spend half his time hiding in the back talking on his phone too but management didn't want to do anything about it because he was a minority and they figured he'd cause a scene. So the rest of us suffered trying to pick up his slack and fix his mistakes. And when the recession hit and they had to lay people off, he got to stay because he had seniority. So it ended up being him and the supervisor and that was it. I saw people get hired and they'd show up for one day then never come in again and not answer their phone when the manager would call to find out what was going on. 

I see people on here begin groups, decide it's too much work and just vanish without any explanation to the people in the group. Without even telling anyone they were planning on leaving. 

People order graphics then never return to pick them up as if it's the designer's responsibility to track your ass down and remind you that you requested. Most of us tag you, give you a few days and then tag you again. Beyond that it is not up to us to police you and make you take responsibility for your request.

No one knows how to be a responsible human being anymore. They expect everyone else to do everything for them so they have zero to worry about. I am not here to be your parent or guardian I have my own life and things to be responsible for. Grow up, get a pair, and suck it up buttercup, because life is hard.
