People, Ug. Am I right?

I will never begin to understand people. If I order something to be delivered my eyes are on the phone tracking that shit until it's at my door. I don't understand the people who order from Uber Eats then vanish. Like don't you want your food, you paid for it. How do you not answer the phone? Also, if your butt lives in a gated community, you know to get in you need a gate code. Why do you not put it in the notes for the driver? (and not answer the phone when we call to ask for the code). Then people bitch they didn't get their food. Well, it's your fault there Karen, suck it up and admit you're a moron.  Not to mention the people who put notes that are obviously meant for the restaurant into the driver's notes section. Sorry but at that point your order is done and the place is not going to remake it because I suddenly find out you wanted no mayo or whatever. Things like that should be put in the notes section for the restaurant. By the time a driver sees it we've already picked up the food and we are on rout to your house. We see no notes until we start the rout to your house.

I've lost track of the deliveries that never made it to people because they're idiots who can't give you a gate code, their building and apartment number, or use the 'by location' to enter their address. Walmart deliveries are the worst because from what I understand, it routs through from Walmart's site. Orders don't originate on the Uber app. We usually get zero information because people just don't bother to put it in. And because the orders did not originate on the Uber app we are prevented from texting people. We can only call them and most people won't answer the phone for a number they don't know. And the number that pops up from Uber is a different area code than where I live because it comes up as Uber's number, not mine. For the paranoid folks out there, drivers get zero of your personal information. When we call you we hit a button in the app and it routs through the app. We have no clue what your phone number is, everything is through the app. All we get is your order, your first name and last initial (which makes looking your ass up on the call box at gated communities difficult) and your address. The moment the order is ended, we have nothing on you. Our activity shows a pickup and drop off address, no names and we can't contact you through the app anymore.

Do not ever, ever, ever, put your address in by GPS location. It is ALWAYS wrong. Every time I've had issue and spoken to the people the first thing I ask is if they put the address in by location. 100% of the time the answer is yes. The GPS location is inaccurate as hell, especially in apartment complexes. Type your address in manually save yourself (and your driver) the headache.
