The Boy is Back

As I said, I finally got my car back after almost six months. I missed my car (though I will miss some of the fancy features on the rental, like the blue tooth connection for my phone and, ya know, working cruise control) and I'm happy to have him back.

Still pissed at the Kia dealer for their idiocy and as much as I love my Kia, I probably won't buy another one after this incident. And if I do, it would never, ever be from that dealer. Unfortunately for me, the only other Kia dealer is on the opposite side of town, roughly a 30 min drive from me.

My car is old (ten years old) and he has 130,00 miles on him. There's a huge crack in the windshield, the tail light on the driver's side is cracked and duct taped together and there's a dent in the quarter panel by the taillight. The wiring in the steering wheel is screwed, due to that I have no cruise control, the horn doesn't work, and neither does the airbag system. Yes, he has issues, but he's mine free and clear totally paid off. So I deal with the issues. I'm happy they replaced the engine for free but saddened by their distinct lack of customer service when it came down to the end.

So, welcome home Theryn, it's good to have you back, old man
