Y'all do know that the US has six different time zones, right? It isn't simply one giant time zone.
People seem to believe that if two people live in the US we're all on the same time.

It irks me when people expect everyone to know how their time zone works but they don't bother to figure out how everyone else's works. It's not that hard to google "What time is it in the *insert time zone here* zone right now".
