Chapter 16

Bucky's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, blinking them a couple times to adjust to the lighting. Laying down on my back I stare up at an unfamiliar ceiling. Suddenly everything comes rushing back to me. Shit, Loki he did something to my head. Y/n...what the hell happened to her?!

Quickly I sit up and check my surroundings. I notice i'm in a small glass case. Sam and Wanda are to my right. Both stuck in a case like mine. The room were in is dark and cold. Barely lit up by a light on the ceiling.

Noticing i'm awake Sam stands up. "Buck?!", he shouts. I groan, "Not too loud. My head is pounding. Where's y/n"

Sam points in front of him. I see y/n chained to a wall. She's sitting on her knees and her hands are hanging from the chains around her wrist. Her hair dangling over her face.

"Y/n?!", I shout out. Not looking up at me her right hand slightly lifts up as if she's trying to wave a me. The chains slightly jingling from her movement. "What happened to you..."

"Why you happened to her. Don't you remember?"

Following the voice I see Loki standing in the doorway. "What the hell are you talking about", I asked.

"Oh, that's right you don't remember anything when you're the Winter Solider. Well, after I activated you? Is that the right word?", he waved his hands to put the thought aside. "Anyways, I ordered you to bring me Sigyn. You were quite rough with her, showing no mercy what so ever", a sly smile on his face.

My eyes widen at Loki's words.

"Sigyn, Being the foolish woman she is refused to fight back. After a few hits you easily knocked her out. She is not as strong when she doesn't have her powers saving her", Loki smirked.

My anger grew with every word he said. No, I broke free of that a long time ago.

"You're lying", I glared at him.

"Am I? Let's see shall we", Loki says as he walks over to y/n.

"Get a way from her!", I yell, slamming my hands on the glass.

Ignoring me Loki goes to her side and grabs a fist full of her hair. Pulling her head back I finally see her face. Blood is all over her body dripping down her face. Her lip is completely swollen and face bruised.

"The reason you remember nothing after I said those special words is because-"

"It's because you knocked me out!", I interrupted him.

Loki let's out an irritated sigh. "No, it's because you became the Winter Solider once again. You finished your mission and captured her for me, but like I said you were quite rough with her", Loki smiles.

"No...y/n", I whisper. "B-bucky", I hear her say back. It's quiet and weak, but it gives me hope. Hope that I can still save her.

Everything I've done was to protect her. In the end I was the one to hurt her...to break her.

Loki let's go of her hair, making her head fall back down.

"Y/n, you need to run. Don't stay here because of me. Use your powers to escape", I told her.

"She couldn't even if she wanted to. You see these chains?", Loki grabbed the chain shaking it. "These were made especially for her. As long as they are around her waist she can't use her power"

Standing up I turn to Wanda. "Wanda you can-"

"No. This cell I'm in also takes away my power", Wanda said with no emotion.

Loki walks up to my cell. "Trust me, i've thought of everything. There is no way any of you can escape". I glare at him.

"I am glad you're finally awake. Now we can start Sigyn's punishment", Loki smiled.

Before I could say anything Loki pulled out a knife stabbing y/n in the shoulder. She lets out a scream of pain.

"NO!", I yell. Using my left arm I start punching the cell trying to breaking the glass.

Loki pulls the knife back out and y/n let's out another scream. Blood flows down her arm. "STOP!", I yell once more.

Loki just looks at me with a smug look before punching y/n in the face. I continue to hit the glass wall. No matter how hard I hit it doesn't effect, but I don't stop.

"It's come to my attention that Sigyn will never love me, but she does love you. So if I can't have her no one can", Loki hits her again. She spits up blood at every hit he sends her.

I hear Wanda scream at Loki, but I can't make out what she's saying. My anger is too overwhelming. I put all my attention on breaking down this wall.

Suddenly Loki stops hitting y/n. Taking a few steps back he pulls out another knife. He throws the knife and it hits through the chain. The chain flies back and connects to the wall. As if the chain is a piece of paper and the knife is a thumb tack holding the chain on the wall.

"Although Gods are made out as invincible we can be quite weak when our powers are taken from us", Loki walks back towards y/n. Crouching down next to her he lifts her face up so she's looking at him. "It is a shame to damage such a pretty face".

Y/n spits a mouthful of blood in his face. "Go...to...Hel", she says weakly. Loki chuckled as he wiped the blood off his face. "By the looks of it you'll be there before me. Unless you accept my love for you".

"...never"

Bothered by y/n's response Loki grabs her by the neck choking her. Y/n starts to kick him trying to get him to let go.

No, no, no. He's gonna kill her! I can't lose her! Not now, not ever!

I use both my hands as I continue to punch the wall. Suddenly I hear a crack. The glass...it's wearing down.

Hearing the crack Loki let's y/n go and turns around. "Wow", he says. "I've really underestimated your strength...looks like i'll need to speed this punishment up", he says. Turning back around he once again pulls out a knife.

Son of a bitch how many knives does this asshole have?!
