3rd Person POV

It was hard, but y/n was able to just bring Bucky. It was safer that way. Did draw much attention to them.

"Where do you live?", Bucky asked as they walked through the streets. Y/n was wearing her black hood once again. Bucky was wearing the same.

"Just a few blocks down", she quickly answered.

Bucky stopped causing y/n to do the same. She turned and gave him a "what?" look. "Why didn't you just leave to a different planet? Or at least leave New York?"

Y/n stayed quiet for a moment before speaking. "I...I couldn't bare being so far from you." She quickly turned and continued walking. Last thing she needed was a confrontation in public.

After about 10 minutes they made it to an apartment building. It was about 5 stories high and a bit old and rusty.

Y/n buzzed apartment 37 four times. "Hello?", an old woman croaked. "It's me Ms. Jones", y/n said.

Suddenly the front door buzzed indicating it was unlocked. They both walked in and headed towards the elevator. The ride up was awkward and suffocating. There was so much to say, but neither dared.

Getting off the elevator they walked to apartment 37 and knocked. The door swung open and a small asian woman who looked to be at least 70 stood on the other side. A bright smile formed on her face. "Mrs. Barnes! Oh, i'm so glad you're okay! The boys and I were so worried! You were gone all night!"

Bucky raised an eyebrow at the old lady. Mrs. Barnes? Did she take his last name?

"I'm so sorry Ms. Jones. I had something to deal with. Here let me pay you for the extra hours", y/n reached in her pocket and pulled out $50. The woman grabbed y/n's hand and pushed it away. "Oh dear, you know I don't watch these boys for the money"

"I know, but I just feel so bad leaving you here alone for that long"

"I treat those boys as my granbabies and you as my daughter. So don't feel bad. We're family and family helps each other out", the woman smiled.

Y/n slightly bowed and thanked the woman. They then said there goodbyes and the old lady went back to her apartment.

"Ms. Jones was kind enough to take me in when I came back to earth. I was able to get my own place that was close to hers. She watches the boys when i'm at work", y/n explained. Bucky simply nodded.

Y/n closed her front door and locked it instantly. Although it took some time because she had at least 10 locks on it. "Sorry", she said sheepishly. "I can be a bit paranoid"

"Mrs. Barnes?", Bucky asked. Y/n sighed. "I know. I just...I needed a last name and the only one I ever wanted was yours..."

Bucky stared at her with a sad look. They've been away from each other for so long and it's as if they're just meeting. He feels he knows nothing of her and he hates it.

Suddenly there was a sound of stomping feet. A big smile reaches y/n's face. Quickly she took off her hood and stood with her feet dug into the ground. "Brace yourself", she warned as she stared down the hallway.

In came two little boys screaming. "MOM!"
They both came running in and jumped right onto y/n tackling her to the ground. She caught them both in her arms. Laughter filled the air from the three.

Bucky watched in awe. The boys were so focused on    y/n they didn't even notice he was there. He stared at his sons quietly as they left little kisses all of their mother's face. You could tell they were identical, but they did have some differences. One had hair that reached his shoulders, but it was pulled back in a half bun. The other had short styled hair. Then one wore dark clothes and the other bright. They looked to be the complete opposite.
