"Please show your identity." The knight requested while looking at Sir Theobarlt who had his uniform on.

So then, Alluka took off his hood to show his identity and upon seeing him, the knight immediately stood straight to show respect to someone that had a higher position than him. Alluka got off his horse as he walked close to the knight.

"I was sent by her highness, the First Princess, to have the gates closed within two hours."

Hearing his report, the knight got troubled. "A-Are you sure, Sir Alluka?"

"Do I look like I am not sure?"

The knight flinched as he could only scratch the back of his head. "T-The Captain is currently having a break and I could not just tell my co-knights to close the gate. I still need permission to Captain Warron-

"Are you mocking the authority of the First Princess?" Alluka cut the knight, making him sweat.

"P-Please show me a formal letter coming from the First Princess with the seal of the Imperial Palace."

Hearing this distrust towards Alluka and her authority, Princess Darya was supposed to go down her horse to reinforce but then Sir Theobarlt put his arm around her waist as he leaned closer to her ear.

"We're being watched. Around ten people."

Princess Darya flinched. Ten people? She only felt seven. Where could the other three be? Why didn't she sense them?

"Can we take them on our own?" She whispered back.

"Yes, as long as they do not have weapons that is a threat to the public-"

An arrow was supposed to strike Sir Theobarlt but he immediately drew out his sword to break it. So then it was followed by a number of arrows as the unprepared imperial knights got injured while Sir Theobarlt and Alluka served as the shield of Princess Darya.

"We are under attack! Close the gate!" Alluka immediately commanded after the first wave of the arrow attack. So then, the message was passed down to all the knights guarding the main gate. "Close the main gate!"

As the second wave of the arrows came towards their direction, there Princess Darya took out her sword as she ran towards the direction where the arrows came from while defending herself with the coming arrows.

Seeing the First Princess swing her sword while turning her body like an expert swordsman, Sir Theobarlt's eyes never left her as he was surprised with the Princess' exquisite skills. When her hood fell from her head, her black hair waved and danced with her. She looked so fearless while she attacked the enemies like a real knight ready to fight for her country even if it will cost her life.

She is just a princess... as he thought but he was wrong.

"Follow the Princess!" Sir Theobarlt could only scream his heart out to tell Alluka that he must follow the Princess. In the middle of the chaos in the main gate, no one could defend the Princess who attacked the enemies alone.

He wanted to run as fast as he could to protect her, however, he should not leave the main gate as he could feel the disguised enemies. As soon as Alluka ran towards the direction of the Princess, there then the main gate exploded before it was completely closed, causing almost all the imperial knights wounded.

"Shit." Sir Theobarlt growled as he raised his head to see the enemies above the walls disguising as Imperial knights.

Thinking about how he could prevent those enemies from going further inside the Imperial property, he immediately took the arrow that was pierced to the ground. Without thinking further, he held the arrow and gathered a propelling strength to pitch it to enemies who's running away to the walls. He succeeded in striking two enemies at the same time, making it only one.
