Athanasia and Lucas sat on the couch in the lounge area, eyeing the weird tiny sculpture Idris placed on the table. "Idris," Lucas started with a look of confusion. "What is this?"

"This one is not sure," he said. "This one is simply curious why young humans find this odd thing cute."

"You bought it... for that reason?"

"Yes..?"

Lucas facepalmed. What an idiot.

On the other hand, Athanasia eyes it with sparkling eyes. "Idris, can I have it?!" Almost instantly, a pair of black and red eyes shot the princess a weird look.

"You... want it?" Asked a befuddled Idris.

"You sure you haven't gone blind?" Asked an exasperated Lucas.

Athanasia ignored the black magician and nodded her head at Idris, expressing just how much she liked the weird little thing.

What kind of odd taste does the princess have? Both magicians thought in confusion as they watched Athanasia caress the little sculpture.

"Hey, where are you going? I thought you'll have tea with us today." Was the first thing Lucas said the second he stepped foot inside the lounge where the three often lazed around. Seeing Idris dressing up like a commoner again surprised him. The old man who liked expensive fabric actually wore commoner clothing for the second time?

Woah, the black magician scratched the back of his head. Didn't expect him to do that.

"This one has a previous engagement with Ijekiel," explained Idris as he fixed his hooded cloak. "So you and the princess have some time to yourselves, black magician." For some reason, Lucas' smile twitched at those words. "This one will definitely buy some gifts for you children again."

"I don't even like that pink handkerchief you gave me!" Lucas screeched, causing Idris to snort before snapping his fingers. The odd magician disappeared in a flurry of snowflakes, making Lucas puff his cheeks out. Speaking of that pink handkerchief, it was placed with proper care inside his pocket at the moment.

The magician's cheeks heat up as it dawned on him that he actually liked what Idris bought him. Tsk.

Meanwhile, Idris himself walked through the crowded streets without bumping into anyone. It didn't take him long to reach the square and sighted Ijekiel sitting at the fountain. His golden eyes resembled sunflower petals bathed in the soft glare of a sunset.

For this occasion, the youth fixed his hair; pushing some of his bangs behind his ear. It revealed his gentle expression and some young girls who walked pass him couldn't help but glance at his direction every so often. Idris' pace increased a little when he saw Ijekiel, the corner of his lips curving upwards.
