C9: Idris Drayce de Alger Obelia
"No," whispered Ijekiel against the magician's chest. He remained quite for a moment before he raised his chin, gazing into a deep pool of red. "But... when you kissed the princess' hand, I was... a bit envious." Ijekiel's face heat up, embarrassed for being jealous of something a gentleman should do.
Kissing the other's hand didn't mean they were interested in that person; it was basic etiquette and yet—
— yet he felt a bit blue when Idris did it on another person.
Getting jealous over something like that; isn't it a bit childish of me?
Ijekiel was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt a hand grab his. Stunned, he watched as Idris placed a kiss on each tip of his fingers; each one lasting for more than five seconds. Idris didn't stop with one hand, he also did the same for the other.
"There," said Idris whose face painted with innocence. "This one did the same for you."
Ah, Ijekiel who was always calm couldn't help the pounding of his heart. He was afraid that Idris might hear it with how loud it beats against his chest. I can't take this much affection from Idris—
Idris wondered why Ijekiel suddenly hid under the bedsheets.
"Child?"
Let me calm myself down first!

A lotus petal brushed passed icy blue scales.
Ruby jeweled eyes flickered open. "Sen" a deep grumble shook the earth in the vicinity, causing little animals to panic and escape. "What do you require from this one this time?" The little lotus flew around the air, gliding up and down as if it was excited.
Annoyance flickered in those jeweled eyes. "You wish to attend a human's festival?" The lotus shivered in excitement and began rubbing against the other's cheek to express its wish. "This one had told you before that humans are despicable creatures. Why do you wish to mingle with them?"
The lotus' petals curled downwards, dismayed by its friend's words.
The sight of those curled down petals caused the owner of the jeweled eyes to frown. "Alright," he said. "This one shall accompany you." Mana began to gather around him. A bright flash of light appeared around him and when it died down, the giant creature in the forest had turned into a human.
He had hair as blue as a cloudless sky, almost four times long as his height. His sanguine jeweled eyes narrowed in distaste as he eyed his hand. "This one hates taking on the form of a human," he complained. "They seem so easy to kill with a flick of my claw."
The little lotus flew rapidly in a circle in front of its friend, the petals tickling his nose and causing the human figure to sneeze. "Sen!" He roared. "This one hates it when you do that!" Instead of being afraid by that intimidating roar, Sen's petals trembled as if it expressed how it tried to hold back its laughter.
Heat crept up the human figure's cheek before he snapped his fingers. Snowflakes formed around his naked body and when they went away, human clothes now wrapped his figure. They were clothes he usually sees on humans who passed by his territory.
"..." Sanguine eyes then flickered to the lotus flower suspended in midair, still shivering in amusement. "You wouldn't be able to enjoy a human festival if you do not look human yourself." He pondered about it and realized that Sen never really used a human transformation.
