As of the date above, there are over 21K works on Adult-Fanfiction.org (AFF), a multifandom site created for people 18 years of age and older. As far as I can tell from my browsing (and as is to be expected), the vast majority of content on the site is NSFW.
Alas, Adult-Fanfiction.org is not the easiest site to navigate (and that's putting it lightly!) I had to do a lot of the ship counting by hand because the site doesn't have a good way to see how many fics are tagged under each ship. It's also sorely limited in the number of ship tags. To give just one example, all of the possible poly ships are clumped together under the tag "Harry Potter > Threesomes/Moresomes," so it's literally impossible to get accurate data on which ships exist on this site without counting every single one of the 21,256 fics separately. (For the record, I did not spend my time doing that, so this only-mostly-accurate data will have to be good enough for y'all. Sorry not sorry!)
