Running on Water: The Flash

chapter 13

Barry and I were running towards the park where our meta was making more metas. When we got there, there were meta-humans running everywhere. Barry went to go stop Kate from making more metas and I got to work right away. I took the water from the lake near us and made it rain just on the park. I drenched everyone who was effected and then made a wave of water that I rode over to where Barry was and used the water whips to stop any dark matter that Kate might have throw at anybody. Barry had these special hand cuffs that cover your whole hand and he was trying to get them on her. I was about to wet her when the water wave I was standing on disappeared. When I fell the water I was controlling fell right on top of her, and Barry. I fell to the ground on my butt, I look over to see something I thought I would never see. Another water bender.

"Liz I'm all good here." He said through the ear piece.

"Well I'm not, go drop off our meta at Star labs and come back I might need your help." Barry looked over to see another water bender, with water whips fighting off my water whips.

"Great, this should be fun."

"You don't say, now hurry up. I think she's had more practice than I have."

Barry ran off and was back in seconds. "Took you long enough." "I just left, oh and I brought some more of those hand cuffs with me." "Good, heres the plan. I freeze miss I'ma slap you with water and you put the cuffs on, got it." "Got it."

We went into action, Barry would run around her pretending to try to put the cuffs on to distract her from the fact that I was pouring water around her. When she was fully turned around I shot my hands up into the air raising the water around her and freezing it. Barry put the cuffs on and I released her from the ice wall.

"That was fun."

"Flash, just grab her and lets go." I said putting my face in my hand.

"Oh you think its that easy to catch me, think again."

We were thrown aback by her words then she stood up keeping her head down. When she rose her head she had an evil smile on it like she was the joker or something. She brought up her arms and then Barry and I both felt sheering pain run through our whole bodies and we fell to the ground. "I th-thought you, ahh, said you, you could only bl-blood bend in a f-full moon, ahh!" "There are certain benders that can, ahh, bend during the day." I tried standing up with all the pain, EVERYWHERE. I put my hand out and kept whispering stop, stop, stop, until. I just yelled it "STOP!" The pain stopped and I helped Barry of the ground. I look over to where Kate is she looked like she was having a panic attack my relief turn to horror. "No!, No, no, no!" I drop my hand letting her go. "Oh, look at that. Someone else is a blood bender too." "You made me do this!" I walk over to her grabbing her by the neck bringing her up above me and I dropped her, as I dropped her I punch her out cold.

"Barry, lets go." I said through gritted teeth.

We got back to Star labs and put our new water bender in the pipeline. When we went to the main lab everyone was watching the news. "Today at the park there was a massive super powered battle between The Flash and a super villain who can give normal people super powers. The Flash was able to defeat this new villain with the help of a new superhero who can manipulate water. This is Iris West for picture news." "Ok, can someone explain to me why she's very pissed?" Cisco asked pointing to me. "Cisco, please, I don't want to talk about it." "Okay then, I'm just going to go over here." He walked over to one of his little rooms where he does expirements.

"Uh, I need a burger."

"You want me to take you to Big Belly Burger?" Barry asked pointing to the door.

"Yes, please."

When we got there I ordered a cheese burger with fries and a shake. Barry of course got like 4 double burgers, I was not surprised. We went to go sit down and I just put my chin on the table, I didn't even lift my head up. I still ate, I just didn't life my head, I would take a bite of the burger with my chin on the table and when I chewed my head went up and down which made Barry sort of giggle which made me smile. I attached like three straws to my shake so I could drink it while my head was on the table. When we finished up we walked out and I was completely quite, Barry grabbed me hand and I pulled it away. "I don't want to hurt you." "You're not going to hurt me." "How do you know?" He lifted my chin and looked into my watery hazel eyes. "Because I believe in you. Now c'mon lets go to Star Labs, Cisco has a surprise for you." "Does he now?" "Yes he does and I think you're going to love it."

We walked into the main lab and Cisco took my to his mini lab and I could see something standing under a cloth. Cisco pulled back the cloth and revealed a suit that looked like Barry's suit, in navy blue without a hood mask. "I LOVE IT!" "Told you" I lightly punch Barry in the arm. "You already had a mask so I didn't put one on. I also made you a side bag so you can carry water in it." "Its amazing, thank you Cisco, yassssss." "I also made you a name." "Its not cheesy or anything right?" "You can decide on that Liz, or should I call you Wave Crest." "I don't like it." "Oh, well-" "I love it!" I grab Barry's bicep with both hands, I bite my lip a bit and start jumping up and down like a lunatic. Caitlin came in with the 'meta on the loose' look on her face. "Guys, theres a meta in the park, she's not doing anything, but when someone goes close to her she lets out a blast of fire." "Barry-" He was already suited up before I could even finish the sentence. "Ok then, give me a sec." I went to Cisco's lab, got dressed and came back out. "Lets go!"

When we got there, there was a girl next to a tree crouching with her knees in her hands. We could tell she was scared, and that she didn't want to hurt anyone. "Barry, stay here. I'm going to try to talk to her." "Are you-" "Shush, I'll be find." I walk over and bend down on my knees next to her. "Hey, are you ok." I guess I scared her a bit because she scooted back a bit on her butt. "No, no, stay back. I'm going to hurt you!" "Hey, hey, its ok. I'm just like you." She got closer and I opened my side bag bringing out water and making it into a ball, then I put it back. "See, its ok. Now whats your name?" I could see she was around her teens and that she had like red/brown eyes. She was scared at first, but she told me her name. "Ma-Magi." My eyes widened, and I was shocked by the name. "Wait, Magi. Like Magi Callahan?" "Ya, she looks into my eyes. "Ya", she looks at me and her face lights up like a little kid on Christmas morning. "Elizabeth!" she got up and jump on me giving me a big hug. Next thing I know Barry's next to me and I'm crying with joy. "Magi, oh my god, Magi!" I hug her back then pull away and look at Barry. "Barry, this is my sister Magi." I said wiping tears away from my face.
