Running on Water: The Flash

chapter 12

"No, no, no, no, no. I can not be a blood bender, that can be good and bad, but mostly bad. Man if I lose control of my emotions then I could lose control of my powers and her someone I care about."

"Wait, what are you talking about?" Barry asked extremely confused. "Water bender, blood bender, Avatar, the last what? What is going on?!"

"Barry I'm a water bender, that means I can manipulate water anyway I choose."

I closed my eyes and lifted my hand, when I opened them I water levitating a ball of water. 'Wow, I did not think that would actually work' I thought. I moved my hands around making the water into a shape I wanted and at that moment I turned it into the flash emblem on Barry's suit. 'Let's see if this'll work' I though and at the same time in my mind I told the water to became ice and it did. I held it in my hand like a giant snowball.

"Man, that is the coolest thing I have ever seen!"

"Cisco, dude, this is just the beginning!"

We headed for one of the spots around the coast that most people don't pass by and I let everything go. I created waves on the coast, a wall of water then froze it into a wall of ice, I created water whips, like whips attached to my arms that I control. I created a sort of octopus that surrounded me. I showed everyone that there is water everywhere, I was able to pull water straight from the air then I walked over to a patch of wildflowers and took the water from them.

"That is awesome man, what else can you do." asked Cisco all exited and jittery.

"I'm not sure, I know there is one thing I haven't tried yet that I will never try unless its absolutely necessary!" I said with such conviction that it sounded like I was angry.

"And what would that be?" Cisco asked getting a little nervous at my sudden outburst.

"Blood bending."

"What is blood bending?" Barry asked with a hint of nervousness in his voice, but he still walked closer.

"You all know that the body is 75% water, well I can control the water in someone else." I said getting quieter because I didn't like the thought of controlling someone else.

"Try it on me."

my head shot up at Barry's comment. My eyes widened and I moved backwards a bit. Then I burst out.

"ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!"

"I just want to see what it is and beside don't you have to develop it first?"

"I'm not, wait how do you know you have to develop it first."

"I searched it up and speed read all I could find on the subject."

"First, dam i wish I could speed read and two, if you know what it is why would you want me to do it?"

"I don't know, can you at least try?"

"Barry why do you want me to blood bend so bad?" Then a thought came to my head. 'If Eobard switch bodies, sort of, with the real Harrison then he might have done it with Barry. No, he wouldn't, I shake my head and push the thought away.

"Fine, Barry I will TRY to blood bend, keyword try so don't push your luck." I closed my eyes and stuck my hands out and was about to try to blood bend when I remembered something that would have saved me form possibly hurting Barry.

"Wait, Barry I can't."

"What, why?"

"I can only do it on a full moon." I let out a small sigh of relief.

"Well its a good thing tonight is a full moon."

I had my face in my hand with my eyes closed, but when he said that my eyes snapped open and my head shot up. I walk over to Barry all pissed and angry, I stop right in front of him and and makes a small step back. I look straight at him with my classic death stare then I give him a small smile.

"You're going to hawk me about this until I say yes aren't you?"

"I'm a hawker."

"Fine, meet me here tonight at 6, got it!" I said with such conviction I sounded like Dean Winchester from Supernatural.

"Yes ma'am." He gave me a salute, just like the one I gave him when I first arrived at Star Labs. It made me smile and giggle a bit and we all headed back to Star Labs. When we got there Dr. Wells was sitting in front of the computers, then he turned around and looked right at me with a sort of devilish grin that made my hair stand up, literally. Since I was a meta now my hair was always wet, but at least I got it to stop raining. Anyway my emotions made the water in my hair make my hair stand up,like I had electricity ran through me. I realized what happen and brought it back down.

"I see you are now a meta."

"Uh ya. Just like you," I said under my breath so no one would hear me. "Its actually kind of cool."

"So, Miss Callahan."

"Mr. Dr. Wells." I said returning the way he said my name making me kind of smile and hold in a gigle.

"Anyway, Miss Callahan, what can you do?"

"I can control water and-

"And its really cool!"

"Ya, she can create waves and ice walls and big octopuses from water."

Barry and Cisco interrupted making me put my face in my hand. The looked at each other then at me and i just started giggling that soon turned into a chuckle then an evil chuckle and I put an evil smile on my face. They stopped laughing and got kind of scared. I created mini balls of water then froze them into snow, not ice so it wouldn't hurt. I was ready to throw them when the alarm went off scaring me a bit making the snow balls turn to water and fall to the ground.

"I swear, that alarm sounds just like my phone whenever someone calls me."

"Barry, its Kate." said Caitlin with a sound of nervous fright in her voice.

"Barry, suit up. Its time to get to work."

"Whoa!"

"Hey!" I cut him off putting my hand in front of his face telling him to stop talking. "I can perfectly take care of myself, now shush and suit up. Cisco, do you have any spare masks anywhere?" "Ya, what color do you want it?" "You got a ocean blue/green?" "Ya, here." He threw me the mask and I put it on, pull in my hair over the sides of the mask. "Barry, lets go and while we're gone, Cisco can you come up with a name for me, please?" "Definitely." he said with excitement and Barry and I went out the door.
